(Associate) Director European Fulfillment Center Operations (m/f/x)

The Role

Reporting into the VP Production International, as Associate Director Site Operations Europe you'll be responsible to manage the operational fulfilment of our European production sites. In close collaboration with the international production team, the international product and procurement teams and the local site managers you will be responsible to bring our operational fulfilment to the next level of performance. 

This challenging task will include fulfilment responsibility for our delivery volumes, excellent product roadmap execution and as well initiation, coordination and progress tracking of improvement initiatives in our fulfilment centers together with the on-site teams. 

Furthermore, shaping our production structure for the future, you will play a leading role in new site allocation, setting site specifications and ramping up the new production sites.  

The international role will be based in our Berlin office and will involve frequent travel to our local fulfilment centers in the European countries (DACH, NL, UK, SE) in average 2-3 days per week.

What you'll do

• KPI based management of our European fulfilment centers with direct accountability and responsibility in regards to fulfilment KPI and responsibility to positively develop efficiency and error rate metrics
• Stakeholder management: you will align and work with local teams and international stakeholders in regard to Pick & Pack related initiatives
• Manage permanent improvement of systems and tools that will help our operations teams manage capacity on an ongoing basis as well as deliver higher process efficiency 
• Problem solving - Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve an array of other complex business problems, using analytics and business judgment
• Strategy and Planning – you’ll support the development of business cases and strategies for volume growth and investment projects in our fulfilment centers
• Responsibility for P&P budget definition and compliance

What you'll bring

• An exceptional academic record with degree from top tier college or University (Engineering and Business degrees preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in production and fulfilment operations preferable with track record in management roles as production manager or site manager
• Exceptional project and people management skills
• Interest in and extended understanding of IT-structures and fulfilment processes
• Superior analytical skills and operational modelling capabilities connected to strategic thinking
• Progressive supply chain leadership roles 
• Demonstrated ability to enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance and reduce costs,  combined with a good sense of hands on mentality  
• Interest to frequent travel abroad
• Fluent business English knowledge
