You will work on the Factor products, in the Factor fulfillment location in Illinois.

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor who must implement the production plan made by the Ops Manager and oversee the team leads, line leads, and hourly associates throughout the shift. You will manage the procurement cost reduction strategy across all categories. You will oversee multiple activities simultaneously and take ownership of the output of leads and associates working on your team and will also exhibit a working knowledge of all machinery, equipment, and processes. You will manage and troubleshoot all technological tools used in production (e.g. MAP machine, printers, QA instruments), and work with other functions within the facility to accomplish plant-wide plans.

You will...

  • Respectfully communicate with all employees and leads.
  • Provide coaching and development to shift hourly associates.
  • Provide all employees with necessary tools, proper training and corrective direction.
  • Report information and update managers throughout every shift with knowledge of that day's production.
  • Resolve employee issues through appropriate problem resolution.
  • Check and respond to emails.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Work to improve processes.
  • Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to Associate Production Manager/Manager during the shift.
  • Submit paperwork at the end of the shift.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and safety meetings with employees.
  • Conduct interviews for nonexempt shifts within the department.
  • Perform accident investigations.
  • Manage department priorities as situations arise.
  • Track absenteeism and timekeeping daily.
  • Perform accident investigations and notify management

You are…

  • Comfortable with training large groups of employees and manage multiple production lines
  • A person that will seek answers to a problem for the best results
  • Able speak to employees fairly
  • A Supervisor that tracks and monitors production and maintaining productivity
  • Experienced with the computer and enter or input information
  • A Supervisor that takes direction and relays information to employees
  • Comfortability in being exposed to cool and cold environment (10º - 40º)

At a minimum, you have...

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED or related work experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment with relevant experience in the Food Industry
  • Worked in Microsoft and Google Suite applications
