The Job

In this newly created role you will be the face of IT for HelloFresh employees in the Nordic market. You will work with key business stakeholders locally and internationally to build the IT department from the ground up. Your goal is to ensure that IT is a business partner across all teams. 

The role of IT Manager is thus pivotal to the success of the business and is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology in the Nordic Region.

You will be based out of our Nordic head office in Islands Brygge, Copenhagen and report to the Regional IT Manager with local reporting to the Head of Culture and People. 

Travel will be required, as often as necessary, between Copenhagen, Bjuv (Sweden) and Moss (Norway) to ensure that our Distribution Centre staff and systems have the support they need to feed our customers.

You will...

  • Define the IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Assess vendors and build relationships to strategically procure new hardware and software
  • Lead projects, including the design and deployment of new systems and services
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to IT across the region

You have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in an IT Support Engineer, System Administrator or IT Project Management role
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work successfully in flexible team structures around the world
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize. Ideally you have experience in leading and managing small to medium IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and warehouse technologies
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • As the Nordics region of the company is in its startup phase, you will be required to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. This will add to your understanding of what technologies are in need of improvement or implementation
  • IT Certifications (ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA etc.) are not essential but desirable
