Job Description:

The Central Admin team is the newest function of the rapidly growing HelloFresh Field HR Team. This exciting function is designed to help streamline and improve all Administrative related tasks in order to have better data, smoother processes, more efficient payroll and much more. The Central Admin function is the backbone of the Field HR Team and will stretch across all locations. It will grow as we expand HelloFresh, Green Chef, Every Plate, and Factor access the US and provide internal job growth along the way.

As Generalist on the Central HR Admin team, this role is critical to ensuring all day to day administrative tasks are completed in order to enable the largest HelloFresh Distribution Center in the network to run successfully. Central Admins will work closely with various departments and are committed to teamwork. You will be one of a team of Generalists where the schedules will be split in order to cover a full 7 day work week. During peak Payroll weeks there will be an opportunity to work remotely based on priority Payroll deadlines

Data drivenness is one of the key foundations of our HelloFresh DNA and critical operational decisions such as labor planning and staffing are heavily reliant on Central Admin processes and data integrity. A successful candidate will be an individual that can exercise independent judgment, have key attention to detail, have problem solving skills, a sense of urgency, and possess excellent communication skills. One of the key traits of a successful candidate is having a data driven/data integrity mindset and striving to ensure our data is consistent and accurate.

This includes:

  • Accurate timekeeping
  • Accurate employee data assignments
  • Roster accuracy
  • Processing timely data changes

In addition, a key to success is the drive to always be looking for opportunities to get involved and grow with the company.

You will ...

  • Respond to associate inquiries via email/call in line and communicate to appropriate team members for any actions needed
  • Enter appropriate time bank hours (sick time, etc) in ADP for associate absences
  • Partner with Payroll teams to generate paycards for associates
  • Sort, organize, and distribute paychecks (off cycle/bi-weekly paychecks)
  • Support Owners on Central Admin team with any overflow tasks from Payroll, Roster Management, New Hires, Employee Information/Status Changes
  • Be cross-trained in other areas and are expected to demonstrate teamwork and help fellow team members as needed.
  • Be the first point of contact for the HR team to make sure that everything is completed in a timely manner.
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed

At a minimum, you have...

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and energetic with a passion for solving people problems
  • Thrives in high growth, fast paced environments
  • People-oriented and highly interpersonal; able to cultivate collaborative relationships across the organization
  • Superior verbal/written communication, organizational, computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and tact
  • Must be able to commute to and work from a field DC location as needed. This could include multiple times per week and can flex up to 100% onsite
