Beyond the Box aims to further HelloFresh’s mission of changing the way people eat forever. This initiative addresses the current food system by ensuring that fresh ingredients are available to anyone facing food insecurity in the United States.

Contribute to Meals with Meaning

We launched Meals with Meaning in 2020 to provide free meal kits to people facing food insecurity in America. Our team draws on the expertise of organizers and volunteers to support community needs wherever we operate. That could mean providing meal kits with step-by-step recipes, ingredient boxes for wholesome dishes, prepared food from local organizations, or even mobile markets. In 2022, we distributed 2 million meals, and in 2023, we hope to reach 2.5 million!

Nominate someone for LimeAid

No one should have to make impossible choices to feed their loved ones. In keeping with our mission of creating a more equitable food system, we have reactivated our giving program, LimeAid, to support families and individuals facing humanitarian crises, natural disasters, and other states of food insecurity. Nominate an individual or family in need here.

HelloFresh wants to start a dialogue about food insecurity beyond donating our ingredients. Our Social Impact and Culinary teams collaborated to create Hunger Matters where we empower our communities by sharing wholesome, budget friendly recipes, identifying local food banks and pantries, and healthy eating tips to live better.

Get support for your organization

We want to offer access to fresh, nutritious meals through bulk donation partnerships with local food rescue missions. If your organization is interested, apply for support through social-impact@hellofresh.com. We'll review your proposal and get in touch with you if we can support your request for assistance. HelloFresh does not sponsor events or auctions.
