Hunger Heroes: How Chef Eitan Bernath Is Helping Fight Summer Hunger

When school’s out for summer, millions of kids across the country lose access to the meals they rely on during the school year. It’s a crisis that’s especially urgent now, as families face rising food costs and SNAP cuts.

That’s why HelloFresh and Kid Hungry launched the Hunger Hero campaign, a nationwide effort to spotlight individuals making a difference and to inspire others to take action against summer hunger.

One of those heroes is Eitan Bernath, an award-winning chef, author, and advocate who’s using his time, voice, and far-reaching platform to make a difference.
