(Contains: Sesame)
2 unit
Scallions
1 teaspoon
Sriracha
1 ounce
Ginger Paste
teaspoon (tsp)
Salt
teaspoon (tsp)
Black Pepper
1 tablespoon (tbsp)
Cooking Oil

Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry produce.
In a small pot, combine rice, ¾ cup water (1½ cups for 4 servings), and a big pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.

While rice cooks, trim green beans if necessary. Toss on a baking sheet with a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper.
Roast on top rack until golden brown and tender, 12-15 minutes.

Meanwhile, trim and thinly slice scallions, separating whites from greens.
In a small bowl, combine ginger paste, sweet soy glaze, honey, 2 TBSP water (3 TBSP for 4 servings), and Sriracha to taste.

Open package of chicken* and drain off any excess liquid; season with salt and pepper.
Heat a large drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and almost cooked through, 3-5 minutes.

Once chicken is browned, add scallion whites to pan. Cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
Pour in soy honey sauce. Cook until sauce has thickened and chicken is coated and cooked through, 2-3 minutes. Turn off heat.

Fluff rice with a fork and season with salt and pepper. TIP: For extra flavor, stir in 1 TBSP butter; 2 TBSP for 4 servings.
Divide rice, green beans, and chicken between plates. Garnish with scallion greens and sesame seeds. Serve.
Love the soy + honey with the kick from the chili sauce. I skipped the ginger this time and just sauteed the green beans before adding the chicken, and then added some diced water chestnuts for crunch since the sesame seeds really don't LOL
Great tasting chicken. Bypassed the rice for romaine lettuce leaves...fantastic- modified lettuce wraps...Great flavors in the soy honey glaze. Quick prep, nice combination with the green beans.
The sweet soy honey chicken has become a favorite of mine. It's easy to prepare and it's delicious. I order it every time it's in the variety of selections
We really liked this meal, especially the honey soy chicken. I also liked how easy it was to prepare.
Next time I get this meal kit, I'm going to blister the green beans and add them to the chicken & sauce. I was very tempted to mix up some honey & sriracha just for the beans, but it was an afterthought and everything else was cooked & ready.
I cut steps by sautéing the green beans with the chicken once it was no longer pink and also added the sesame seeds in this step. The only thing I'd like to see is more rice and more sauce.... Wonderful nonetheless :)
Green beans are dry after oven roasting. The rice was very bland by itself, but tasted good with the chicken on top of it. The soy honey chicken had lots of flavor.
The chicken was the right amount of spicy and sweet. The green beans were tossed in some bacon grease and served with the rice. The meal was so flavorful.
This was delicious. Love that the chicken comes precut!! Could have used a bit more rice and more green beans to match the large portion of chicken but overall easy and tasty
The sweet soy honey sauce was great! Great taste and not too much honey or siracha! Perfect amount. Green beans were yummy along with jasmine rice! My only complaint was most of the chopped up chicken was fatty but everything else was great.
