What is the meaning of life? What is love? What should I have for lunch? These are the age-old questions that our ancestors pondered. While we can’t help you with the first two conundrums, we’ve got the third answer in the (lunch) bag: Easy, breezy wraps made with our ready-to-eat BBQ pulled chicken so they’re ready in under 10 minutes. We believe in a balanced diet so we tucked some salad into the wraps with cheddar cheese and buttermilk ranch dressing for that irresistible creaminess. When a riddle is wrapped in an enigma, our solution is to wrap lunch in a tortilla!
2 unit
Flour Tortillas
(Contains: Soy, Wheat)
2 ounce
Mixed Greens
½ cup
Cheddar Cheese
(Contains: Milk)
1.5 ounce
Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
(Contains: Milk, Eggs)
10 ounce
BBQ Pulled Chicken
Wash and dry produce.
Wrap tortillas in damp paper towels and microwave until warm and pliable, 30 seconds.
In a large bowl, toss mixed greens and cheese with ranch dressing.
Place tortillas on a clean work surface. Add greens mixture and BBQ pulled chicken* to the bottom half of each tortilla. TIP: Like a hot lunch? Microwave chicken in a microwave-safe bowl for 1-2 minutes, then stir and add to wraps.
Fold bottom side of each tortilla over filling, then fold over left and right sides toward the filling. Roll up tortillas, starting with filled sides, to form wraps. TIP: For less mess, place each tortilla on a large piece of aluminum foil before rolling and wrap up with the foil. Simply unwrap as you eat!
Halve wraps on a diagonal; divide between plates and serve.
Nothing profound, but quick, easy, delicious, and satisfying. I probably wouldn't make it for guests, but it did get protein and greens down for a couple days when I was too sick and worn out to "really" cook. Will order again when it comes back around. The barbecue sauce is the sweet smoky type I like, not a lot of heat, and the cheese and ranch make the TONS of healthy greens feel like a treat. Try it!!
I love how quick and easy this was to put together I was able to do it in my office with only a bowl a fork. My only suggestion would be a little less barbecue sauce on the chicken. Or maybe offer it on the side.
I never thought of eating barbecue chicken cold but, it works. This is, almost, ridiculously easy to make and it was a great lunch for work!
The chicken was soo good. I don't eat spinach much but with the chicken and ranch combo it was amazing. Bigger tortillas needed.
I love that it was quick and easy. The mixture of ranch dressing, cheddar, and barbecue sauce didn't blend well to me. Maybe a milder cheese (provolone? mozzarella?) would suit my taste buds better. I'm not sure what to suggest in place of the ranch dressing that would help bind the greens. Maybe a dressing with a dijon mustard base?
Absolutely amazing!! One of the best recipes we've ever had! Would love it if it made two wraps per person instead of one
Very good, but maybe too much bbq sauce for my taste. Maybe put the chicken and the sauce separate?
The arugula lettuce with the cheese and ranch was so good as a salad.
Great BBQ sauce, just the right amount of chicken and salad
The mix of BBQ and ranch is weird. This would be better with buffalo sauce. Also, the portion of chicken is rather small.
