Freshly baked cookies are simply the best. These classic holiday cookies are made with rich cocoa powder, which gives them their fudgy texture, and rolled in confectioners’ sugar for that signature crinkly crust. This handy-dandy baking kit has everything you need to make them from scratch. Trust us, waiting for them to cool is the hardest part. (Note: Eggs not included.)

(Contains Eggs, Wheat)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together white sugar, oil, vanilla, and eggs until combined. Using a rubber spatula, fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms. Roll dough into 16 1-inch balls. (If the dough is too sticky, refrigerate for a few minutes before rolling into balls.)
Place confectioners’ sugar in a small bowl. Working one dough ball at a time, roll balls in sugar until coated. Place on prepared baking sheet at least 2 inches apart.
Bake until cookies have spread and confectioners’ sugar appears cracked, 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely (cookies will flatten as they cool).
