Zest orange until you have ½ TBSP. Peel and halve orange; roughly chop one half (use remaining half however you like). Peel and grate ginger until you have ½ TBSP. (If you’ve already made the Apple Ginger Crisp, you should have a knob of ginger left over to grate.)
In a medium bowl, combine cranberry sauce, ginger, orange zest, and chopped orange. Add a pinch of cinnamon and salt. Stir to combine. Taste mixture and add more cinnamon or salt if you like. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.
