Pepper
Place sealed bag in microwave on high until tender, 2-3 minutes. Let bag cool for 1 minute.
While green beans cook, heat 1 TBSP garlic herb butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add almonds and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden, 2-3 minutes. Add green beans and cook until lightly browned, 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add 3 TBSP garlic herb butter; toss to coat. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
Recipe Suggestion (Additional ingredients not included.) Top finished green beans with a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of Parmesan.
The green beans were fresh and the almonds had a nice little crunch. The garlic butter sauce was perfect; not overpowering. I loved this side.
Fresh green beans. Started with the green beans Amandine & added elk steaks. It made a good, simple dinner. Nice to start with vegetables & build a meal from there.

Why did you send it with directions to put the beans in the microwave, but the beans were not prepped? They still had the tails and stems on. If this was supposed to be heat and eat, it should require washing and trimming of the beans. Because I had to do that step, I prepped this whole thing on the stove top. Your directions should include alternate prep options. Assuming everyone has a microwave is incorrect thinking. It did taste great, but I also toasted the almonds in the butter on the stove top and the directions just seemed to ask to just toss the almonds in after microwaving the beans. Really?
I LOVED these! (And my boyfriend like them, too.) These are the perfect side for so many dishes, and I definitely will be returning to this recipe.
Tasted great. I probably wont cook with the garlic butter again though, it stuck to the pan terribly. Id rather add it at the end.

Always like Green Beans Amandine. However, the beans still had the stems on them and we didn't realize it until after they were cooked, since we cooked them in the bag they came in (according to the instructions).
