BBQ Baby Back Ribs

BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Game day grub. | 1 Rack

There’s something about messy food that just tastes better. Case in point: these ribs! Baby back ribs are blanketed in tangy BBQ sauce, then tucked into the oven until juicy and caramelized. That’s all there is to it! Serve with napkins (or lick your fingers–we won’t judge!) and enjoy the one meal where manners don’t matter.

Instructions

1

Adjust racks to middle position and preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place ribs on prepared sheet; spread tops with any remaining sauce from package. Sprinkle with 2 TBSP water to maintain moisture. Tightly cover with foil. Bake on middle rack until ribs are warmed through and sauce is lightly caramelized around the edges, 40-45 minutes.

Recipe suggestion: Prefer Carolina-style BBQ? Rub ribs all over with 2 TBSP yellow or Dijon mustard and replace water with a drizzle of cider vinegar. Love a dry rub? Combine equal parts brown sugar, paprika, and garlic powder. Let BBQ sauce drip off ribs before placing on sheet, then rub all over with seasoning mixture; season with salt and pepper.
