Adjust rack to middle position and preheat oven to 400 degrees. Allow garlic herb butter to come to room temperature.
In a small bowl, combine 1 cup mozzarella, 4 TBSP marinara, and half the garlic herb butter.
Remove biscuits from package. Using a rolling pin, roll out each biscuit into a 3-inch round. Divide filling among biscuits (1 heaping TBSP per biscuit). Using your fingers, fold over biscuits and pinch to close. Gently roll each stuffed biscuit into a ball. Place close together seam sides down on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
Bake until biscuits are golden and puffed, 15-18 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the remaining garlic herb butter in the microwave until melted, 20-30 seconds. Brush biscuits with melted garlic herb butter. Top with ½ cup marinara and 1 cup mozzarella.
Return to the oven and bake until cheese has melted, 2-3 minutes more. Place remaining marinara in a small bowl and microwave until hot, 30 seconds. Serve alongside for dipping.
These tasted good in the end, but I had to twist the recipe. I rolled out the biscuit dough like it stated to, but it didn't work so well. It was too thin and I couldn't stuff the cheese, butter, marinara mix in them. So the next one I left as biscuits and then I could stuff them. Worked much better and not nearly as messy.
Very easy to make without a rolling pan. It is better to make the batter balls 5-6 inches across, not 3. Holds the sauce better. I added fresh minced garlic to the butter and sauce to make it tastier.
Made this quickly for an expected visitor for lunch! We both commented how yummy and quick and easy it was!
Easy, quick, and yummy. Paired with a veggie it's great for a weeknight meal with kids.
Easy, delicious and a good twist on pizza. Great for a quick meal, lunch, appetizer or snack. I'll be buying this again.
These were a bit tricky to close, but my kids loved them!
My little ones ask for this all the time now! Mommy's easy go-to!
So delicious. Would have been good with ham or pepperoni too. But so fattening-ugh!
Really good and addictive but SOOOOOOOO much butter. Next time I do it, I'm gonna cut out at least a third of the butter
These were really tasty but the biscuits were soggy. Sitting in the sauce as they baked didn't help.
