Nothing says comfort quite like homemade ramen, that soul-stirring combination of umami-rich broth, tender meat and veggies, and a tangle of chewy noodles. In this spin, you’ll build a sumptuous bowl of soy-infused ramen broth packed with hearty ground pork plus bok choy, napa cabbage, and spinach for a big dose of wholesome greens. Add the noodles, and top with homemade chili-garlic oil and fried onions for crispy contrast. But what’s the very best part (besides the whole thing?) You’ll pull it all off in a lightning-fast 15 minutes, so get those chopsticks ready, cause soup’s on!

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Cooking Steps

Prep
1
  • Wash and dry produce.

  • Trim and thinly slice scallions, separating whites from greens. Peel and mince or grate garlic.

  • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add pork* and scallion whites; season with salt and pepper. Cook, breaking up meat into pieces, until browned, 2 minutes (the pork will finish cooking in Step 3).

Heat
2
  • To pot with pork mixture, add 3½ cups water, chicken stock concentrates, pork ramen stock concentrates, and half the soy sauce (7 cups water and all the soy sauce for 4 servings); cover and bring to a simmer.

  • Meanwhile, in a small microwave-safe bowl, combine sesame seeds, garlic, half the sesame oil (all for 4), a drizzle of oil, a big pinch of salt, and as many chili flakes as you like. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave until fragrant, 30 seconds.

Simmer
3
  • Once broth is simmering, reduce heat under pot to medium. Add noodles, bok choy and napa cabbage, and spinach; simmer, stirring, until noodles are tender and pork is cooked through, 2 minutes.

  • Taste and season with salt and pepper if desired.

Serve
4
  • Divide ramen between large soup bowls. Stir in as much chili garlic oil as you like.

  • Top with scallion greens and a few crispy onions. Serve. TIP: Don’t add all the onions just yet! Add them as you eat to keep them nice and crispy.

Review summary

Updated on Feb 2026
  • Flavor: Many loved the rich, savory broth, though some found it a bit salty or bland. Adjust seasoning to taste 🍲.
  • Ease of prep: Customers raved about how quick and easy this dish was to make, often ready in just 15 minutes.
  • Suggestions: Consider cooking noodles separately to prevent sogginess. Add extra veggies, especially bok choy, for more texture and flavor.
  • Leftovers: Noodles tend to absorb broth and become mushy; best enjoyed fresh or store components separately.
  • Customization: Some enjoyed adding a soft-boiled egg, extra chili oil, or swapping the ground pork for chicken or shrimp.

For whatever reason, this wasn't nearly as quick/easy for us as the recipe suggests - more like the usual half-hour and change for dinner. That said? Freaking delicious and well worth the time. I go out of my way to try ramen joints whenever I can, and this gives a lot of them a run for their money. Very nice job.

One of the easiest recipes I have ever made. There is next to no prep (only cutting up green onions) and it was done in less than 15 minutes. I even got three servings out of it! It is now on my top 3 recipes.

This ramen was DELICIOUS! I'm having trouble choosing a favorite Hello Fresh recipe, but this one is very high on my list. I will happily order this again.

It was good, but seemed to be missing some deeper flavor to the shoyu-style broth. Maybe another additional ramen flavor packet would help or the full soy sauce packet? We had the two person meal.

Very good, maybe a bit more broth though and recommend cracking the noodles in half. I know it's taboo for ramen but very hard to eat

The pork ramen flavor could have been a little stronger to give it more flavor. Also, it would be nice to make this again but with other protein options as we don't eat a whole lot of pork. Would make again though!!

It isn't often that I immediately go for the meat in a dish, especially not pork, but this is fantastic!! The flavor combos are wonderful and I love the way this feels to eat. No notes

We are really enjoying this and the other Ramen options. Long way from the college days of breaking a brick of noodles open lol.

We are SOLD on these ramen meals. Meat/veggie/noodles is a big thumbs up. Very-very satisfying to slurp these long noodles and the broths are great.
