Broccoli is as versatile as it is delicious. Steamed or roasted in the oven and served as a side or mixed right into the main meal (in a cheesy pasta bake is our favorite place to have broccoli make an appearance)—the options are endless with this classic cruciferous veg.

8 ounce
Broccoli
Wash and dry produce. Cut broccoli into bite-size pieces if necessary.
Place broccoli in a large microwave-safe bowl; cover tightly with plastic wrap and poke a few holes in wrap. Microwave until broccoli is tender, 1-2 minutes. Carefully uncover (watch out for steam!) and toss broccoli with salt and pepper. (No microwave? No problem! You can boil the broccoli in a medium pot of salted water until tender, 2-4 minutes.)
