Calling all chocolate and peanut butter lovers! Put away those fun-size candy bars and freezer-burned ice cream pints because we’ve got the cure to your weeknight cravings. Say hello to a personal-sized (!) peanut butter lava cake. It couldn’t be easier to prepare—all you have to do is pop it in the microwave. When you dig in, get your Instagram (and your tastebuds) ready: the rich, cakey outer shell gives way to a warm flow of molten peanut butter. Keep it simple or gild the lily (in the best way possible) by topping it with chopped fruit, nuts, ice cream, or flaky sea salt. You really can’t go wrong. A bit too rich for my taste and I'm a chocolate lover at heart. I think it was maybe a bit too peanut buttery. My dad and I could have split one. I naturally always go first chocolate first but ventured out. That said, I have the chocolate lava cakes coming in my box this week and I think those will be perfect as I enjoyed the chocolate ratio in the PB ones.
These are delicious! We loved it as much as the chocolate lava cake. I think my husband might have liked it more. It's hard to pick the favorite of the two.
Yummy! I wish there was more peanut butter filling. The chocolate lava cakes seem to have more filling in them.
The cake was decadent! I only used the microwave for these but the peanut butter never got molten even after having it in for 2 minutes. I enjoyed this for a lovely rich dessert but I think if I get these again I'll try heating them in the oven instead.
We don't eat dessert often -but when we do, we want it to be really worth it. These are soooooo good-along with all the other little lava cakes and cheese cakes.
Great flavor treat. Sadly peanut butter was over to one side of the cup. Initially thought maybe the dessert was mislabeled. However, looking forward to enjoying the next one. :)
Absolutely delicious! If I was to change anything add more peanut butter or maybe mini chocolate chips because if you got a bite without peanut butter the cake was a little dry.
Tasted great with the peanut butter and chocolate and paired well with vanilla ice cream!
This is perfect. Not too sweet or too peanut butter. I am amazed.
Not as much peanut butter as shown in the photo, but delicious just the same.
