Spray tops of pretzel bites with water, then sprinkle with salt. (If desired, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake salted pretzel bites until warmed, 3 minutes.) Heat cream sauce base in a small pot over medium-low heat. Bring to a low simmer and cook, whisking, until sauce begins to thicken, 1 minute. Reduce heat to low; slowly add in cheese, whisking constantly. Cook until cheese melts and sauce has thickened; season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve pretzel bites with cheese sauce on the side for dipping.
