FYI: THESE TASTE GREAT EVEN IF YOU FREEZE THEM! 😍 I had a really busy week so I didn't have time to eat breakfast. I didn't want my burritos to spoil before I could try them. So I made the decision and went ahead and threw them in the freezer with my fingers crossed hoping they would still taste good. Were they? Oh most definitely! These have been some of the best breakfast burritos I've had from outside/commercial that wasn't made from scratch by me 😆. There are some additional steps you need to take in order for them to taste fresh-like. First, you need to follow the instructions provided for heating them up in the microwave. While that is cooking, quickly preheat your air fryer to 325 degrees. When my air fryer reaches this temperature, I usually leave it going for 2 minutes. (This makes the racks in my air fryer have an even distribution of heat which I think gives a toastier tortilla.) Then place the burrito(s) on the middle rack making sure to put them seams down. Cook them for 10 minutes then flip them with the seams up for an additional 2 minutes. Now you should have a beautiful golden toasted breakfast burritos that has a steamy and cheesy inside. I think the package label is a bit misleading because it states that it contains spicy pork sausage. Most would think that it's going to be "hot" but it's not. Rather than spicy, it contains flavorful spices that enhance the pork sausage. It's very yummy! The eggs and potatoes are pretty much like those you would find in any ready-to-eat food. However HelloFresh provides larger cuts of potatoes and bigger chunks of cheesy scrambled eggs. This is a smart move because once cooked the textures of both ingredients maintain their original structure and taste. Way better than the mushy potatoes and watery scrambled eggs you get from the typical supermarket frozen breakfast burritos. Definitely a favorite I will keep on my menu for easy yet scrumptious ready-made breakfast.👍🏻
Easy to make and tasted very good. Wrap was a bit oily and soggy though. Egg pieces were large. Could be incorporated into burrito better. The sausage flavor is great. Maybe more cheddar or add diced potatoes.
Straight yum. I don't know what kind of sorcery was used to make this burrito, but it is GOOD. Would be nice if some salsa was added on the side, but luckily I had my own. I put one in the microwave and one in the oven; shockingly, I liked the way it tasted microwaved better than the oven. So so good
Burrito pops open and could use a fresh element (something crunchy inside). Maybe would have been better in an air fryer or oven. Taste was still good and I love that it is fast.
Helpful tip. If you prepare these in the microwave, simply heat a sauté pan and brown them on medium heat for a crunchy, lovely breakfast burrito.
Nice portion size (1) burrito. It is tasty and easy to prepare.
Love the burritos. Have tried both air fried and microwaved and both ways are delicious.
Great basic breakfast burrito! Might be nice with chorizo instead of breakfast sausage.
That sausage is seasoned so well that it took me off guard. It saved this burrito from mediocrity
Burrito was decent, but not something I would purchase again. It was smaller than I had imagined, and didn't have much flavor besides the pork sausage. It was fulfilling, just not particularly something I would crave to eat again.
