Calling all chocolate lovers! Put away those fun-size candy bars and freezer-burned fudgsicles because we’ve got the cure to your weeknight cocoa cravings. Say hello to a personal-sized (!) chocolate lava cake. It couldn’t be easier to prepare—all you have to do is pop it in the microwave. When you dig in, get your Instagram (and your tastebuds) ready: the rich, cakey outer shell gives way to a warm flow of molten chocolate. Keep it simple or gild the lily (in the best way possible) by topping it with chopped fruit, nuts, ice cream, or crunchy sea salt… you really can’t go wrong. Easiest lava cake ever! Great taste, liquid chocolate gold in the center. Excellent chocolate dessert!
EXCELLENT! We've been to many fine restaurants, and was shocked that these Chocolate lava cakes were one of the best we've tasted. Well done Hello Fresh!
We LOVED the lava cakes. Topped it with vanilla ice cream 🤤
Really enjoyed the chocolate lava cake so easy to make and so good. Quick dessert.
I think you're better off getting lava cakes from somewhere else, or even making your own! The entire thing gets far too mushy if you heat it through. There's barely any separation between the cakey exterior and the melted chocolate center.
The best molten lava cakes and just the right size.
Holy Cow...These have an incredible chocolaty flavor! Gosh, so delish.
Reminded us of the molten lava cakes on the Carnival cruise line! So yummy!
The flavor was good, but the texture wasn't like a traditional lava cake. It was more like flan with chocolate sauce.
The cooking instructions do not produce the "cake" and chocolate "lava" effect. Taste is good, with ice cream, the uncooked chocolate works well however, would like the "cake" portion to cook correctly.
