We've combined two beloved dishes into one hearty Southern-style feast! Our succulent double-smoked BBQ-seasoned pork is tossed with a savory-smoky brown sugar and hickory-infused BBQ sauce. It's served alongside tender elbow macaroni stirred into a smooth cheddar cheese sauce and sprinkled with crisp panko breadcrumbs. Nutrition values are representative of a 1/2 container serving.

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Bake on middle rack for 15 minutes.* Carefully remove foil and stir mac & cheese. Add panko topping to mac & cheese and return to middle rack. Bake until panko is golden brown and meal reaches an internal temperature of 165 F, 10 minutes more. Drizzle BBQ Sauce over pork and stir. Let stand for 2 minutes. Divide BBQ pork and mac & cheese between 2 plates. Season with pepper to taste.

FOR THE MICROWAVE Remove outer packaging. Place tray on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave 2 minutes more or until meal reaches an internal temperature of 165 F. Stir BBQ sauce into pork and let stand for 2 minutes. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, microwave 1 TBSP butter until melted, about 30 seconds. Add panko topping and stir. Microwave for an additional 30 - 45 seconds. Divide pork and mac & cheese between 2 plates. Top mac & cheese with panko.

Review summary

Updated on Feb 2026
  • Flavor: Mac and cheese was creamy and tasty, but many found the pork too fatty with an artificial or off-putting taste.
  • Ease of prep: Quick and convenient for busy nights, though some noted longer cook times than instructions suggested.
  • Suggestions: Consider using pulled pork instead of fatty burnt ends; drain meat before adding sauce for better texture.
  • Portions: Several felt the meal was too small for two people, especially after trimming excess fat from the pork.
  • Texture: Pork was often described as tough, chewy or rubbery; mac and cheese ranged from creamy to mushy.

We have had this meal before and always loved it, but this was the BEST one yet!! Whoever made the smoked pork and mac & cheese that week did an excellent job. We noticed the portions were great and the flavors were perfect.

This was my favorite pre-made dinner. The mac n cheese was great and so were the pork and bbq sauce!

WOW! This was surprisingly not a disappointment! Great smoke flavor, moist meat and great flavor to adult Mac and cheese.

This was an outstanding prepared meal! The pork was moist and tasty! The Mac and cheese was so yummy! At first glance it didn't look like enough for 4, but it was more than plentiful. We had it for dinner and then we all had leftovers for lunch the next day! I loved that it was already prepared and made a busy day easy for me! Thank you for this meal!

The worst part was that the pork was at least 50% fat. The mac and cheese was pretty good though. But...The cooking times are way off. At 15 minutes, the mac and cheese was still luke-warm at best. And why would I pour cold BBQ sauce on pork that I finally got heated up? I warmed the sauce in the microwave first then mixed it in and let it cook a couple minutes longer. Also, this isn't a quick-prep meal. It takes almost as long as one of the faster regular meals. It's definitely not worth the extra money.

The mac & cheese was great. Love the panko topping. The pork was weird. It was more like mush than burnt ends. It was good flavor but zero for texture and it looked awful.

Good, but I prefer baby back ribs that have less fat. The BBQ sauce was very good and it's nice to have some ready to heat options for those evenings when you're rushed and don't feel like preparing dinner. Everyone loves a mac & cheese side.

I was not aware this was going to be a premade dish that just needed to be heated in the oven. I was expecting to actually make the mac and cheese at least. It was an ok dish. Cheese sauce refrigerated will never taste as good as fresh made sauce.
