If you’ve ever been caught with your spoon in the peanut butter jar, we’re here for you! Here’s how we handle our own “peanut butter problem”: we whip it with crème fraîche and a pinch of salt, shmear it on celery and dot with raisins, plus layer it onto a platter surrounded with other yummy tidbits! Tangy cheddar cheese, sliced apple, pistachio-walnut trail mix, fig jam, honey, and toasted baguette slices make a salty-sweet choose-your-own-adventure meal that’s as tasty as it is beautiful to behold.

• Wash and dry produce.
• Halve, core, and thinly slice apple. Stack cheddar slices and cut into quarters. Slice baguette into rounds.
• In a small serving bowl, combine peanut butter, crème fraîche, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth. Add 1 TBSP whipped peanut butter to each celery stick; spread to evenly distribute. Gently press as many raisins as you like into peanut butter in a single line to create ants on a log (we used 3-4 raisins for each).
• In a second small serving bowl, combine pistachios and walnuts. TIP: If you have any leftover raisins, add them to the nut mix!
• Place jam and honey in two separate small serving bowls.
• Arrange apple, cheddar, baguette slices, ants on a log, any remaining whipped peanut butter, nut mix, jam, and honey on a large serving board or platter. Serve family style.
Took a while to make, but it was so fun. Very messy and perfect for little kids to put together.
That peanut butter! It was delicious, perfect texture. My celery sticks were dried out. That was disappointing.
I found that there wasn't enough honey for the recipe. It was a tasty lunch!
The ants on a log, bread, apple, honey, and cheese were great! The walnuts and fig jam weren't a hit, but it was a nice and easy lunch!
Fun idea but the apricot spread is artificially flavored. My daughter wasn't a huge fan of the raisins. I'm assuming because of the color. The walnuts and pistachio mix is more for adults, as they have a nuttier flavor that most kids do not enjoy. Maybe mixing a chocolate or something with it.
I don't think I would count this as a meal. I wish there would have been a bit more. Maybe some kind of meat.
The cheese was literal sliced cheese and felt a little cheap or flimsy? I'd rather have a nice snack sized chunk
A little underwhelming on what it was. The celery came in small pieces that had to be trimmed further (would have rather liked receiving a full stalk that I could cut myself). Everything else was just OK; won't waste my money on it again.
There was only 3 small pieces of celery and they were like brown and soggy in parts, I wish there was more celery in this !!!!
Only included 3 celery sticks total - a bit odd when it's meant to be for 2 people. The cheese was a bit stale
