It’s lunchtime at your villa nestled in the hills among olive orchards and vineyards. You’ve only got time for a quick lunch before you get back to tending the grapes, so it’ll be a simple but tasty open-faced affair. Spread toasted sourdough slices with guacamole and a sprinkle of chili flakes, top with fresh mozzarella and juicy seasoned tomatoes, then drizzle with a tangy-sweet balsamic glaze to bring it all home. On the side, an arugula salad sprinkled with Parmesan keeps it light for the afternoon ahead—bocce ball, anyone?

Huge portions and really good. I made this dish for just myself and thought I could eat both portions myself for dinner. I could only eat 1 portion and was full. It was very good and fresh. Love this one! I will be ordering it again
This was very good but I wish it had two pieces of toast per person. There was enough guac/tomato/mozzarella for that!
I loved this. I wasn't sure about the guacamole with the mozzarella and balsamic glaze, but it balanced together perfectly.
A very yummy, easy and light summer dinner! Actually paired it with the tortelloni Salad instead of the arugula salad
Loved it made a great salad as that is how I ended up putting it all together with the toast on the side. Would like additional vegetables
A little messy to eat, but the flavors were amazing!
There's no good or easy way to slice that mozzarella. Could use a little bit more kick and flavoring on the salad. I added tajin
I liked the recipe but not enough bread for two servings, and the tomato was not close to being ripe or flavorful.
The balsamic glaze definitely added flavor to a pretty bland combination with the mozzarella and tomato.
This was so good, simple and healthy! Only con was the portion with one slice of bread.
