Wash and dry produce. Adjust rack to middle position and preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Halve, core, and thinly slice apple. Slice baguette crosswise into 8-10 rounds. Spread slices out on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Toast on middle rack until golden brown, 5-10 minutes.
Meanwhile, place crème fraîche in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper; stir to combine. Spread crème fraîche on toasted baguette and top with apple slices. Drizzle with fig jam and lightly season with salt. Serve immediately.
Generally these were tasty; I felt like the directions skipped some steps. The fig jam doesn't really drizzle if it's cold, so I poured it into a crock and warmed it in the oven. Then I assembled the crostini and drizzled it, and put it back in the oven. The fig jam was delicious but very messy so I wouldn't serve it as a party finger food as expected.
I heated it all instead of toasting just the bread and that was incredible. Great flavors and toasting the apple really softens it, recommend not heating the jam so you don't burn yourself lesson learned there
Really easy to make and very tasty. Crunchy, creamy, sweet and savory all in one bite
The flavor and texture are just super amazing. I used garlic salt and it added such a pleasant flavor. Super surprised at how good this is and so quick and easy to make
These taste delicious and we love having them as a midday snack, but it seems that there is not enough bread. There are plenty of all the ingredients except the bread, so if the loaf was bigger or a second one was included it would make more sense because we had so much extra of the other ingredients.
This was super delicious paired with some fresh fruit. I prepared these while camping, toasting the bread over and open fire. It was a wonderfully yummy and light meal after a day of hiking.
This was a hit at a small holiday party. There was a generous amount of toppings, and we were able to do a bit of mix and match with a charcuterie board and everyone had plenty of deliciousness. I finished off the remains in an unusual but delicious sandwich the next day.
So YUMMY and easy to make. Good to know I can make these for a quick party or guest snack
100% a favorite! Really wish there was more on the future meal orders! It was so easy to make. It was very creamy and crisp at the same time
Loved the fig jam and combo of flavors. The bread was small and I only got 6 slices out of it instead of 8-10 slices the recipe called. The creme franchise would have tasted a little better with a little sugar blended in.
