If you love hot sauce with every meal, these burgers are for you. We blend ground beef patties with both tangy hot sauce AND Frank’s Red Hot seasoning for layers of spicy, zesty flavor, then top with Monterey Jack for melt-factor. They’re sandwiched between toasted potato buns and topped with crispy fried onions and a generous swipe of creamy ranch for cooling contrast. After all, how does that old saying go—“hot sauce and spice makes everything nice”? That sounds right to us.

• Adjust rack to middle position and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and dry produce. • Cut potatoes into ½-inch-thick wedges. Toss on a baking sheet with a large drizzle of olive oil, half the garlic powder (you’ll use the rest in the next step), and a big pinch of salt and pepper. • Roast on middle rack until browned and tender, 20-25 minutes.

• While potatoes roast, in a small bowl, combine sour cream, ranch dressing, and remaining garlic powder; season with salt and pepper. TIP: If you like things spicy, add a dash of the hot sauce—just be sure to save some for forming your patties!

• In a large bowl, combine beef*, Frank’s RedHot® Original Seasoning, a dash of hot sauce, and salt. Form into two patties (four patties for 4 servings), each slightly wider than a burger bun. • Heat a large drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned and cooked to desired doneness, 3-5 minutes per side. • In the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, top each patty with Monterey Jack; cover pan to melt cheese.

• While patties cook, halve and toast buns. Spread cut sides of buns with creamy ranch sauce, then fill with patties and crispy fried onions. • Divide burgers between plates and serve with potato wedges on the side.
Really tasty! I didn't add the full spice packet of Frank's or the hot sauce to make sure it wasn't too spicy. Added some of my own seasoning to make sure the burger had enough flavor though. The ranch was really good and I liked the onions. A slight buffalo spice to the meat was a great trick I will try again.
I liked the burger! Needed more crunch i added lettuce! I love to see a potato wedges or chicken recipe with this franks redhot firehouse! Perhaps two different ways in strips coated in something to make it stick- an egg, franks seasoning, breadcrumbs and baked! If its an egg i have no problem providing my own just say need an egg when recipe is selected and on cards! Or you make the other chicken recipe with sour cream rubbed in chicken top breadcrumbs and the franks seasoning then bake!
This was very good but not as vibrant as I was expecting. If I were to try this again, I might substitute the RedHot for Penzey's Northwoods Fire. It was easy to make though, and the sauce/french fried onion combo would be an excellent choice on ANY burger.
The onions were kind of broken and did not properly sit on the hamburger (not anyone's fault), BUT I came up with a hack - put the onions on top of the sauce on the bottom bun and then they stick. Another hack I used is to put some of the RedHot in ketchup for my fries.
Fast and easy to make. When i first read 'Franks Redhot' my mouth watered since i love the sauce and the tangy flavor. I was expecting it to be a sauce vs a powder. I was a little bummed out since i felt like it tasted like a basic burger.
I ordered and received the recipe card for Kickin BBQ Pulled Chicken sandwiches. Got the Frank's RedHot Firehouse Cheesburgers and liked it a lot. No vegetable, but the Burger was spicy, but not too much.
My husband and I are not fans of hot and spicy food. Being able to add just the right amount of Frank's Red Sauce spice added flavor without the heat. We also loved the ranch sauce and crispy onions.
Want more "fire" add 1 1/2 Tablespoon of red chili pepper flakes and 1 1/2 Tablespoon of Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Best Burger Ever!
I was pleasantly surprised how delicious this concoction was. Pretty basic ingredients ... but it was a home run for sure!! Frank's Red Hot .... I put that $&@? on everything now ... but especially the HelloFresh burgers!!
Delicious and easy! I am not the biggest fan of spicy food so I only used a small amount of the franks red hot spice and it was perfect!
