Lasagna is a family favorite for a reason. Thick sheets of pasta layered with meat, cheese, and tomato sauce is comfort food at its finest. But all that work on a weeknight? No thanks. That’s why we’re giving you the flavors of lasagna in a quick-cooking soup. Turkey sausage is simmered with classic lasagna ingredients and paired with focaccia for dunking. Heat it up, then you’re ready to mangia! *Nutrition values are representative of a 1/2 bundle serving.*

Rosemary and Parsley Focaccia
(Contains: Wheat)
30 ounce
Lasagna Soup
(Contains: Wheat, Eggs, Milk)
Keep focaccia refrigerated; if product has been re-frozen, thaw fully in the refrigerator before following heating instructions.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Place bag in pot; cook for 20 minutes, then carefully remove. (Caution: Bag will be very hot.) Cut one corner with scissors and pour soup into a serving bowl.
Meanwhile, place focaccia directly on oven rack. Cook until warmed through, 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 3-5 minutes. Cut crosswise into slices.
ALTERNATIVELY: Cut one corner of the bag; pour soup into a microwave-safe container. (Do not microwave in cup.) Cover loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap or a paper towel. Microwave on high, stirring halfway through, 5-6 minutes. (Caution: Container and soup will be very hot.)
I love this lasagna soup and have ordered it repeatedly. My ONLY critique about it is I like to convert it into lunches for myself and one container is too much for two servings but not enough for three. This has often prompted me to order two of these item in order to cook and separate into five portions. This is my long way around of saying I wish the portions were about 33% larger, to make one order equal three servings rather than two. The focaccia was good, too, by the way.
Great idea, and I decided to try because I felt it was a nice departure from the usual soup/garlic bread combo. My husband is a fan of thick, hearty soups that stick to a spoon, and I'm a fan of dinners I don't have to spend 3 hours preparing/cleaning up after working a full day. I found the flavor of the focaccia to be a little lacking. Also, I toasted it at the recommended temperature for the recommended amount of time and it came out of the oven just warmed through but untoasted. Even the outermost edges weren't crisp. My oven is less than 2 years old and the temperature is accurate, so I'm thinking that with the thickness of the focaccia, the toasting time might need to be reevaluated - another 5-7 minutes might do it.
This was SO tasty and easy to make on a chilly Sunday evening. Sundays are about getting ready for the week. Things like laundry, organizing, cleaning, etc. This meal was perfect for a busy but relaxing day at home -- and so good!
Maybe offer a different meat but very good nonetheless. This is the only HelloFresh meal I've ever enjoyed the turkey in. I added my own grated parmesan, maybe include small packs of it, it makes it much better
Very good! Love the focaccia bread and the lasagna soup was well seasoned.
I loved this already prepared soup and the Focaccia was my first time eating it. It was perfect with the soup.
Very filling on a winter day. Focaccia bread was a nice change from the usual breads you ship.
This soup is amazing. I could eat the entire container!
I ate this for days and am addicted to this type of breads now, anytime I see them now on our meal choices I add them! Great soup and bread!!!!
Surprisingly I didn't really enjoy the rosemary focaccia. The soup was good but not wanting special. I had to add seasoning and wish it had cheese.
