Cooking Steps

Cook Filling
1
  • Heat a large drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Squeeze pulled pork in package to break up meat; add to hot pan. Using two forks, shred pork into smaller pieces.

  • Add grain blend and al pastor sauce to pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce has slightly reduced and pork is warmed through, 4-5 minutes.

Make Salad
2
  • Meanwhile, empty contents of salad kit into a large bowl. Drizzle with as much dressing as you like; toss to evenly coat. TIP: Want to save a bowl? Shake the salad, toppings, and dressing in the bag!

Roll Burritos
3
  • Wrap tortillas in damp paper towels and microwave until warm and pliable, 30 seconds.

  • Place tortillas on a clean work surface. Place as much pork filling as you like along the bottom third of each tortilla, then sprinkle with Monterey Jack. TIP: Save any remaining filling for another meal!

  • Fold bottom edges of tortillas up over filling. Fold in sides, then roll up tightly from bottom to form burritos. TIP: For less mess, place each tortilla on a large piece of aluminum foil or parchment paper before rolling, then wrap up with the foil or parchment. Simply unwrap as you eat!

Serve
4
  • Halve burritos and divide between plates. Serve with sour cream and salad on the side.
