There’s nothing more comforting than a warm, hearty bowl of chicken soup. Not just any chicken soup will do, though—this one happens to be extra special. For a truly soup-er experience, this one is extra creamy and has wild rice added to the mix. The best part? All you have to do is heat it up and grab a spoon! One slurp will have you bowled over. *Nutrition values are representative of a 1/2 bundle serving.*

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
(Contains: Milk, Wheat)
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Place bag in pot; cook for 20 minutes, then carefully remove. (Caution: Bag will be very hot.) Cut one corner with scissors and pour soup into a serving bowl.
MICROWAVE ALTERNATIVE: Cut one corner of the bag; pour soup into a microwave-safe container. (Do not microwave in cup.) Cover loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap or a paper towel. Microwave on high, stirring halfway through, 5-6 minutes. (Caution: Container and soup will be very hot.)
The broth is very creamy & yummy, but this is (disappointingly) nowhere near as hearty as the lasagna soup. Barely enough wild rice for a taste, was there actual chicken?? I still don't know... and a very very few bits of carrot. Fine for an appetizer course maybe, but not at all a dinner soup, I will not be buying it again.
Creamy and very flavorful soup! We love to put this one in a bread bowl as a dinner.
There wasn't enough wild rice. You could barely tell that there was any in there. The flavor blend was delicious though.
Not a fan of the way the onions are in two of these soups. It's like they cut up the outer layer of the onion. The texture is from the layer you should throw away, hard and papery. This soup could use just a little more flavor.
Hubby is a huge fan of soups and he said it was thick enough to not have to add his usual entire sleeve of saltine crackers 🤣
Tastes exactly like Panera bread's! Love the amount of soup that came with it
The taste is good. However I feel that there was not a lot of chicken or wild rice in this. We had it for lunch and both of us agreed that it taste good.
A bit thin, this soup provided a super base for me to add a can of Canoe wild rice, a can of chicken meat (Kirkland), some homegrown veggies out of my freezer, and a little more liquid to accommodate my additions, and home dried herbs.
Don't let the initial appearance deter you; it thickens and coagulates upon heating.
Best soup ever! Please offer this one more often - I would buy it every time.
