Looking for a way to add tons of extra flavor to your meal with almost NO effort? We’ve got two words for you: pan sauce. This one comes together in just three minutes with savory chicken stock, tangy lemon juice, rich butter, and sweet peach jam. It’s drizzled all over BBQ-rubbed pork chops, then served with fluffy rice and zesty green beans. If you find yourself licking the plate clean, we won’t judge.

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Cooking Steps

Prep
1

• Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry produce. • Peel and mince garlic. Zest and quarter lemon.

Cook Rice
2

• Heat a drizzle of oil in a small pot over medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook, stirring, until fragrant, 30 seconds. • Stir in rice, ¾ cup water (1½ cups for 4 servings), and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes. • Keep covered off heat until ready to serve.

Roast Green Beans
3

• While rice cooks, trim green beans if necessary. Toss on a baking sheet with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. • Roast on top rack until browned and tender, 12-15 minutes.

Cook Pork
4

• Meanwhile, pat pork* dry with paper towels. Season all over with BBQ Seasoning, salt, and pepper. • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large, preferably nonstick, pan over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook until browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes per side. (Lower heat if pork begins to brown too quickly.) • Turn off heat; transfer pork to a plate. Wipe out pan.

Make Sauce
5

• Return same pan to medium-high heat. Stir in jam, stock concentrate, ¼ cup water (1⁄3 cup for 4 servings), and juice from half the lemon. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 3-4 minutes. • Turn off heat; stir in 1 TBSP butter (2 TBSP for 4) until melted. Season with salt and pepper. • Return pork to pan and turn a few times to coat.

Finish & Serve
6

• Fluff rice with a fork; stir in 1 TBSP butter (2 TBSP for 4 servings) and season with salt and pepper. Toss green beans with lemon zest. • Divide rice, green beans, and pork between plates. Spoon any remaining sauce from pan over pork. Serve with remaining lemon wedges on the side.

Review summary

Updated on Dec 2025
  • Flavor: Many loved the sweet-and-savory peach BBQ sauce, though some wanted a stronger peach flavor or found it too sweet.
  • Ease of prep: Several found it quick and easy to make, though some noted it took longer than the stated 20 minutes.
  • Suggestions: Consider sautéing green beans instead of roasting; some found roasted beans tough or stringy.
  • Portions: Some felt portions were small, especially for green beans; a few wanted more sauce or larger pork chops.
  • Pork quality: While many enjoyed the pork, some found it tough or fatty; cooking time may need adjusting.

AMAZING! The pork chops were high quality, the sauce perfectly complimented the BBQ seasoning, and the final bite of lemony green beans topped it all off with a bow. I've never quite been able to cook rice through properly before, but I followed the instructions and it came out perfect. Happy, happy!

Generous sized and tasty pork chops. Loved the BBQ rub. You nailed it with the lemony green beans--they are perfect! Garlic rice was delicious in the background without the flavors of the chops and the green beans. A great meal that I would order again.

Peach BBQ sauce! This will be tried on many more meats, especially on the grill this summer. The lemon helped the green beans and of course the garlic was a complimentary subtle addition to the rice (I've also added cilantro or pistachios to rice from time to time for many dishes). This will be another addition to rice flavoring.

Wow! The pork was fabulous. The peachy sauce on the BBQ spiced pork was amazing. The sauce blended well into rice to make a perfect side.

So very delicious. The pork was fantastic with the peachy sauce. And the light lemon flavor in the green beans was so tasty. Even the rice was fabulous.

It was okay. I liked the flavor of the rice with the garlic and butter. The green beans were good with the lemon zest. The flavor profile of the pork chops didn't mesh well. The rub was okay, but the peach jam and chicken stock didn't go well together, and it didn't go well with the bbq rub.

We loved everything about this meal. The pork chops were amazing and the lemony green beans were so yummy. But the most surprising element was the garlic rice! It is so simple but so tasty and flavorful. I will definitely make this kind of rice again when I am cooking on my own.

The spice rub on this was great, it gave the pork chops a great texture. The peach jam took a lot more time to thicken than the recipe stated, but it turned out well. Wish we had leftovers on this one!

I loved these chops and was really disappointed there weren't leftovers/seconds. Especially liked the peach flavor with the bbq. The only complaint was from my youngest child about the lemon green beans (they normally like green beans, but these were too strong - my husband though loved them).

BBQ rubbed chops and flavors of peach sauce were delicious. We will reorder this meal again. Very much appreciate the pork chop package actually weighed the correct amount and not under the weight posted on the package.
