If you’ve ever been caught with your spoon in the peanut butter jar, we’re here for you! Here’s how we handle our own “peanut butter problem”: we whip that nutty goodness with crème fraîche and a pinch of salt, layer it onto a platter surrounded with other yummy tidbits, and call it a snack board! Nutty gouda cheese, sliced apple, pistachio-walnut-dried cherry trail mix, fig jam, honey, and two kinds of toast all pair wonderfully with the spread. It’s a salty-sweet choose-your-own-adventure meal that’s as tasty as it is beautiful to behold.

• Halve, core, and thinly slice apple. Stack gouda slices and cut into quarters. Slice baguette into rounds. Toast sourdough slices until golden; cut each into 3-4 triangles.
• In a small serving bowl, combine peanut butter, crème fraîche, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth. Set aside.
• In a second small serving bowl, combine pistachios, walnuts, and cherries.
• Place jam and honey in two separate serving bowls.
• Arrange apple slices, gouda pieces, baguette slices, toast points, whipped peanut butter, trail mix, jam, and honey on a large board. Serve family style.
So good. We needed our lunch to be more portable than the family-style board described in the instructions. So, I mixed together the gooey ingredients, topped it with the nuts and cherries and made the most elegant PB&J in the history of food. We had the apple and cheese as a side. Amazing taste. Can't wait to get this one again.
My 9 year old put this together for breakfast for her siblings. Easy & fast!
Nice breakfast that we shared on a Sunday late morning. I like Fuji apples better, but the honey sweetened up the tart apple.
I got this for a healthy snack to eat with my grand children. We had fun making and enjoying.
Everything tasted good but calling this a meal is a stretch. This was a snack.
Better instructions on how to make peanut butter mix. Better packaging for bread to keep from getting hard or soggy. More cheese to balance flavors.
Portions were very small for the nuts, and peanut butter.
Peanut butter stuff could have been a little more creamier.
Nice but too many sweet elements. Another cheese or maybe a veg spread or cream cheese would have been a little better.
The cheese was really low quality. Maybe cheese cubes instead of cheese slices.
