Review summary

Updated on Sep 2026
  • Flavor: The apple-cinnamon filling is warm and satisfying, and the caramel dipping sauce is a standout — rich without being overly sweet. Some found the filling a little bland and wished for more cinnamon or a tarter apple flavor.
  • Ease of prep: These are incredibly easy to heat up, especially in the air fryer, making them a go-to quick dessert or snack anytime.
  • Suggestions: The air fryer is the clear winner for a crispy exterior — roll them in cinnamon sugar right after cooking, or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a next-level treat 🍎. A few found the oven method left the wrapper too soft, so air frying is strongly recommended.
  • Leftovers: These are best eaten fresh and hot; reheating in the microwave makes them soggy, so cook only what you plan to eat.
  • Texture: Many found the wrapper tough or chewy rather than flaky — cooking longer or at a slightly higher heat may help, and deep frying produces the crispiest result.
  • Caramel sauce: Customers love the caramel sauce but frequently wish there were more of it — consider having extra on hand, or request two packets for a full serving of six rolls.

I picked these out for my kids, but I ended up eating most of them. These are like a fruit egg roll. The caramel sauce is best at room temperature. I popped them in the oven again after they were done because my kids left them out so long. They crisped up perfectly. The outside is a light and crunchy wrap, but the inside is like an apple pie. The combination is perfect. Add the caramel sauce and you'll eat the whole package.

These are very good. Much better than the strawberry and apple ones. I won't buy those again but I bought several of the apple pie ones and froze them. They freeze very well. I don't bother dipping them in the caramel sauce because I'm just not into that kind of sweetness. They're just fine on eating them all on their own. I made mine in a tabletop convection oven to really crisp them up.

I've been forgetting to leave my feedback on your apple pie rolls, so here it is: it's awesome! I don't usually eat pies and when I do, I get very picky about them. Your apple pie rolls make the cut because it's delicious, it has that flaky crunch and the sweetness is just right for me without using the caramel sauce - maybe you can offer the sauce as an option? I don't like too sweet foodstuffs, generally. Thanks for offering this item!

No instructions. Should you heat it? It could have used A LOT more cinnamon and sugar. The apple pie rolls were bland.

These are my favorite little snacks. I love that it comes with the caramel sauce. I wish the other pie rolls came with a sauce. I think it makes a big difference.

Very tasty - like an upgraded apple pie from a fast food place - the wrappers were crispy, the apple filling delicious, and the caramel sauce was smooth and creamy

These are always great. I usually buy them when they're on sale as a special treat. I like that they come with a dip some of the other rolls do not. I do mix up some cinnamon sugar and roll them in it right after it comes out of the oven. Very yummy with a little bit of ice cream on the side.
