This sweet, sticky dessert is well worth the napkins. Our rich brown sugar bundt cake is topped with a decadent butter toffee sauce that coats it to perfection. The best part? We did all the hard work, so all you have to do is heat it up whenever you need a treat. Nutrition values are representative of one cake.

Cooking Steps

1

Keep frozen or refrigerated until ready to eat; best if used within 3 days. If frozen, thaw in the refrigerator (at 40 degrees) overnight or for 2-3 hours at room temperature before eating.

2

RECOMMENDED: Remove plastic wrap from trays; microwave until warmed through, 50-60 seconds. (Do not overheat.) Let cakes cool for 2 minutes, then turn out onto plates and serve.

3

ALTERNATIVELY: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove plastic wrap from trays; place on a baking sheet and bake until warmed through, 14-16 minutes. (Note: Oven times may vary.) Let cakes cool for 2 minutes, then turn out onto plates and serve.

Review summary

Updated on Sep 2026
  • Flavor: Rich, buttery, and deeply sweet — most loved the toffee flavor, though quite a few found them very sweet and recommend sharing or pairing with something to balance the richness.
  • Ease of prep: Just microwave for 50–60 seconds or bake at 350°F for 14–16 minutes; the microwave method is quick and keeps them gooey, while the oven gives a slightly firmer texture.
  • Suggestions: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream to balance the sweetness — this was the most popular tip by far 🍨. Some reviewers noted the toffee sauce can stick in the container; let the cake cool the full 2 minutes before turning out to help release it cleanly.
  • Leftovers: These store well in the freezer; thaw and reheat when you need a treat, and they taste just as good as fresh.

Very tasty cakes! The hot butter toffee topping adds so much to the overall flavor of the cake. Love it!

Very good but if purchased with other Bundt cakes taste this one first. Its flavor is more mild than the pineapple or chocolate both which overpower the delicate flavor of butter toffee.

I wanted to love these because they're 100% my kind of dessert, but they were just too sweet and had strange pockets of saltiness inside the cake every couple of bites. I couldn't finish a single one in a sitting, which would be fine, but it wasn't because I was satiated which is *sadface*. I still love butter toffee and bread pudding though, so I'm not going to cry too loudly. :P

These taste great but they're so rich each cake should be shared.

Delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! It is a huge portion, so we usually split each bundt cake into two.

This was a great dessert and I had a lot of sweet, thick toffee syrup on the bottom, which was great.
