Cheesy, saucy, and herby, this dish is as satisfying as it is simple to make! In our oven-ready tray, you'll combine juicy Italian sausage, marinara sauce, bell pepper, and olive oil. Once baked, you'll top with a blend of Italian-style cheeses that get all melty, then finish with dollops of pesto. Served with ciabatta pesto toast, you'll turn 5 minutes of prep into a showstopper!

• Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and dry produce. • Halve, core, and thinly slice bell pepper into strips. Halve ciabatta.

• In oven-ready tray, combine sausage, bell pepper, and marinara (for 4 servings, evenly divide ingredients between two trays). Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt. • Bake on top rack (be sure your oven has preheated!) until bell pepper has softened and sausage is cooked through, 30-33 minutes. (For 4, bake two trays side by side on top rack.)

• When sausage bake has 5 minutes left, toast ciabatta. Spread cut sides with half the pesto; halve on a diagonal.

• Once sausage is cooked through, evenly top sausage bake with Italian cheese blend. Return to top rack and bake until cheese melts, 30-60 seconds. • Top sausage bake with as much remaining pesto as you like. Serve family style with pesto toast on the side.
Ground Meat is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 160°.
This is excellent and one of the best, especially the marinara sauce. However, the picture shows 2 sausages when the recipe comes with 3 which means each dinner is 1 1/2 sausages. It's misleading, something I haven't seen in any of the other photos.
Very good! Prefer pork sausage to chicken always. Please keep options to choose between them for all meals. I know some avoid pork...but I find the spices in the chicken sausage not good. Thank you for this meal that I often toss together on my own....it was yummy!
Sausage came ground so I shaped it into meatballs, it was a very easy recipe and my family really liked it
I added pasta to it and cut up the sausage. It was very good! The sweet sausage is the best I have ever had. I absolutely love the flavor of it.
This is very yummy! Only downfall is you get 6 sausages for 4 servings. Kinda odd to serve half a sausage.
Very good but..... Love your chicken sausage but a bit short on veggies. Made some instant pasta to add to meal. Not a veggie but it did round it out. Did not care for the pesto toast at all, but pesto was great in the sauce.
I feel like this would be even better with some pasta, but it was so tasty!
Easy to make and I love the cheese. The peppers were a little strange but not terrible.
Great simple dish. Do feel it lacks protein. Would love for there to be an option to boost protein in the meals.
So good I wish I had another kit to make this week.
