Take your fave pizza + toppings, roll up tight, and you've got stromboli! After stretching and shaping our foolproof dough, you'll top with melty mozzarella, pepperoni, and hot honey, then roll it up and bake until golden brown and crispy. Serve it piping hot with marinara for dunking and a tangy green salad for fresh, crunchy contrast.
½ ounce
Hot Honey
1.5 ounce
Italian Dressing
(Contains: Milk)
1 cup
Mozzarella Cheese
(Contains: Milk)
3.5 ounce
Pepperoni
2 unit
Pizza Dough
(Contains: Wheat)
2 ounce
Mixed Greens
5 ounce
Marinara Sauce
1 teaspoon (tsp)
Olive Oil

Adjust rack to middle position (middle and top positions for 4 servings) and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry produce.
Lightly coat a baking sheet (two baking sheets for 4) with a drizzle of olive oil. Remove pizza dough from packaging and roll dough balls on baking sheet to coat all over. Place dough balls on sheet at least three inches apart and cover with a clean kitchen towel; let rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Once dough has rested 20 minutes, gently press and stretch each dough ball into a 6-by-8-inch rectangle (the dough is stretchy and the shapes won't be perfect—that’s OK!).
Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rest 12 minutes more (this will make the following step easier!).

Once dough has rested 12 minutes, evenly sprinkle each dough rectangle with mozzarella, leaving a ½-inch border around edges. Top with pepperoni. Drizzle hot honey in a single lengthwise layer across middle of dough.
Starting with one of the long sides, gently fold up a 1- to 2-inch portion of one of the dough rectangles. Repeat 2-3 times until dough forms a log. Arrange stromboli, seam sides down, on baking sheet; pinch ends to close and tuck underneath. Repeat with remaining dough rectangle.

With a sharp knife, gently cut three small, shallow diagonal slits along the top of each stromboli. Bake on middle rack until golden brown and crisp, 18-22 minutes (for 4 servings, bake on middle and top racks, switching rack positions halfway through).

When stromboli have about 5 minutes remaining, in a medium bowl, toss mixed greens with dressing until evenly coated.

Halve each stromboli crosswise.
Serve stromboli with marinara and salad on the side.
So instead of the side salad, I did added the greens into the Stromboli. My partner and I enjoyed this recipe a lot. Prep time took awhile, took me longer than usual but the dough and timing came out perfectly supple. Definitely a great repeat recipe. The only thing I'd change is to add more cheese, pizza sauce and hot honey!
These were really fun to make! And to eat. I put the marinara sauce directly in the Strombolis, which made them a bit more like pizza. It was only after they were done that I realized the sauce was for dipping, lol. I would probably do that again, tho. Another recipe that is far out of my comfort zone, and another that I really enjoyed.
A resounding "YES!" on every level for this one. Delicious and simple! I was intimidated by having to work with the raw dough, but the directions were clear and simple, and I had no problems making a beautiful stromboli. One small note: the directions state to make the dough into a 6"x9" rectangle and then let it sit for 20 minutes longer - I find that the dough will not keep this shape until you add the filling ingredients (especially on an oiled baking sheet), so you might want to add a note to your recipe that it's OK if the dough is not the perfect size and shape before you proof it the second time, and that it's much easier to get it to hold it's shape once you add the filling.
Straight from the Italian pizzeria! Generous portions and packed with loads of flavor. The instructions regarding the proving of the dough were straightforward and led to a delicious and crispy crust. Bring this one back for sure!
This was so good omg. The greens I received was just straight spinach which I feel is too strong of a green to just eat alone with dressing. The instructions were a little misguiding because why do I spend time evenly spreading out the pepperoni if I folded everything to the middle? Also, it told me to cut three lines but the photo shows five which I know probably didn't make a difference. I am very detailed oriented and only rely on these meals to help teach me new things. I just like to be certain I am doing the technique right when following the recipe. Thanks again for the amazing meal!
Barely tasted the hot honey at all, maybe could have used like 1 more packet per serving. Hard to roll out, and not enough cheese to make a decent stromboli

Working with the dough was kind of different for me. This is the 2nd recipe where I had to rest and stretch the dough. It takes some time, but I have a technique now. We liked the result. It was fun.
Delicious!!!!! And made a really good size portion. Hot honey is so good in this
Delicious and a lot easier than I thought it would be to make. It was filling as well.
