Loved this toast! Fun combinations, feels like a fall favorite. The PB/creme mixture was a little thick but still spread well and tasted delicious altogether!
One of my favorite toasts so far! The peanut butter was difficult to get out of the package, and the raisins weren't necessary, but still delicious!
Delicious. The peanut butter turned out an odd texture mixed with the creme fraiche, but it actually looked like the picture for once so I assume it was supposed to be that way.
I would have never thought to put this combination together. It was a very tasty, filling breakfast that made me feel energized for the morning until lunch.
This was my favorite meal of the week! It was so easy and delicious and felt like such a decadent breakfast!
Difficult to eat it made per the recipe, but the end result is so worth it.
Easy and fast! I just wish it was a little sweeter. Or if the butter would've been swapped out for almond butter.
I'd rather have honey than maple syrup, and almost over walnuts. I changed it up and have enjoyed this breakfast treat very much!
We did a lot of modification here, because none of us like the idea of maple syrup paired with most of these ingredients, half don't like apples and peanut butter together, and half don't like raisins. I will say, though, that the creme fraiche really just seemed to make the peanut butter dry and tasteless, even after we added some extra milk, which is why I'm not going with four stars. The raisins and walnuts were combined with some cinnamon sugar into a snack, and the apples (with cinnamon sugar) were also a snack, and the syrup is being saved for pancakes or waffles or something. We're all fine with separating the parts out that way, everybody was happy, but we were all also a bit underwhelmed at the peanut butter, which is funny because that's the core of this meal.
The peanut butter was very hard to squeeze out leaving behind a lot still left behind in the 8 packages and taking more than the 10 mins the recipe said it was going to take. It was also oily on the outside of the packages and the bags weren't labeled with the what the ingredient was. Overall, it was a lot of effort to have my kids tell me how much they hated it.
