Cooking Oil
Keep frozen or refrigerated until ready to eat.
Lightly oil a muffin tin. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
RECOMMENDED: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place bag in pot; cook for 20 minutes, then carefully remove. (Caution: Bag will be very hot.) Cut one corner with scissors and pour into serving bowl. Top chili with about half of the cheese.
ALTERNATIVELY: Cut one corner of the bag; pour chili into a microwave-safe container. (Do not microwave in cup.) Cover loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap or a paper towel. Microwave on high, stirring halfway through, 5-6 minutes. (Caution: Container and soup will be very hot.) Top chili with about half of the cheese.
Separate rolls into 6 rounds (do not unroll dough). Place each round into a prepared muffin cup. Top each round with cheese with about half the cheese.
Bake until golden brown, 13-17 minutes. Serve warm (or bake ahead and reheat briefly in the microwave).
We really enjoyed this chili - great spices, not smokey, a little heat but not too much. Great paired with the sweet cornbread rolls.
I'm now a chili snob. Steak or bust, baby! And hello to these cornbread swirls, that was too easy!
The chili was really good. We liked to dip the cornbread into the chili.
Loved the chili. Not a fan of the cornbread but they tasted better if you dipped it in the chili.
Pretty good chili. Chunks of steak were a bit much. Prefer hamburger. But that's just a preference. It was very tasty
Would have given it 4 stars but the meat inside is a little chewy and weird but overall a good meal and the cornbread swirls were delicious!
Cornbread had weird texture. Hard cooking process for chili. Taste of chili was good. Only two servings.
Chili was delicious. The "cornbread" barely tastes like cornbread, if at all.
It is different chili beans and I prefer home made chili... haven't tried cornbread yet...
Chili is 4 stars, but cornbread was busted open when received.
