Keep frozen or refrigerated until ready to eat.
RECOMMENDED: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place bag in pot; cook for 20 minutes, then carefully remove. (Caution: Bag will be very hot.) Cut one corner with sciessors and pour into serving bowl.
ALTERNATIVELY: Cut one corner of the bag; pour soup into a microwave-safe container. (Do not microwave in cup.) Cover loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap or a paper towel. Microwave on high, stirring halfway through, 5-6 minutes. (Caution: Container and soup will be very hot.)
GARLIC BREAD: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place garlic bread on a lightly-oiled baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes. Separate garlic bread into slices and serve.
The chunks in the gumbo could be bigger, but we'll let it slide. The flavor of the gumbo was fantastic and this is a great option when you don't want to make a whole vat of gumbo. The garlic bread was a great compliment to it too. We cooked it per the instructions, but then sliced it, put it back on the pan, and popped it under the broiler for a few minutes to make it extra crispy and toasty for our soup. It was a quick and easy dinner that we really enjoyed.
The gumbo was INCREDIBLE! I will definitely be buying again. So delicious. The garlic bread was warm and delicious as well!
We always love this gumbo & the garlic bread! Makes a quick & simple meal--just add a salad!
The gumbo was good, May have been a little spicy for me. Overall very good meal. The garlic bread is so good.
Husband loved the gumbo. The bread was so good with the garlic butter. Perfect size.
We LOVE the gumbo and it's a great easy meal with some bread on the side. The cajun flavors are authentic and spicy!
Being from the South, I've had my fair share of excellent gumbo. This is really tasty for a quick weekday meal!
THIS GUMBO was AMAZING! I grew up in Louisiana... this was AWESOME. Please bring it back. I'd order it every week. :)
The gumbo was *really* tasty, and I could definitely identify bits of shrimp and and sausage, but they were all pretty small. Next time, I'll probably by some andouille sausage to cut up and add so there's something to bite and chew! That said - there will definitely be a next time; the flavor was delicious.
Gumbo too spicy for me. Good ratio of broth to ingredients. Bread was delicious & paired well with gumbo. Would prefer to have a larger loaf
