It's not just the chocolate loaf; it's what you do with it. I drizzled it with Dark Chocolate Syrup and warmed it up. I had prepared sliced Strawberries in a confectionery sugar syrup and chilled overnight. To serve the warm gooey chocolate loaf, I sliced it, drizzled with chocolate then topped with the fresh Strawberries. YUMMY!
This cake was yummy. If you love chocolate, you will love this. Rich moist chocolate poundcake with generous chocolate chunks in the batter. I could have eaten the whole thing!!

The ends are dry, but this is a very good chocolate pound cake. Very rich and chocolatey. Would pair well with some creamy ice cream or whipped cream.
