Flaky, savory, and filled with seasoned chicken thighs and veggies, these Latin-American pastries are the perfect appetizer or snack for any mealtime or gathering. Colombian-born Margarita Womack and husband Andy were searching for delicious, family-friendly food solutions and launched Maspanadas to help them (and you) make authentic food that fuels life in the fast lane. All you have to do is bake or air fry the empanadas to golden perfection and share! We like to dip them in sour cream and salsa, but feel free to serve them with your favorite dips and toppings. These empanadas were delicious. I air fried them for about 7 minutes and they were golden brown and delicious. Made a green salsa and sour cream dip to go with them and it was just the extra touch to put them over the top!
Excellent and easy to prepare. I combined the empanadas with a stir fry dish from the same box.
I love the empanadas! They are easy and fast to cook, and taste delicious!
These were so good! Crisped right up in the air fryer and dipped them in some sriracha ranch!
The stuffing flavor was good, but it's a pretty small blob inside the bread. I followed the instructions for the air fryer. While that turns out a crisp, non-soggy crust, I still found that the small size of the empanada meant that they could quickly get overbaked and hard. Not an item I'd come back for, although the flavor isn't bad at all. Maybe a larger empanada would retain its inner moisture better?
I added a cheese sauce to pour over the empanadas! It came out perfect! Not enough for a meal, but a great snack!
I was surprised on how tasty these were. I think pairing with a sauce would be a good addition to these.
I learned from the last order of Empanadas to not over cook them. It made a huge difference.
I like this empanada's just right size for snacking. Wish it had diced carrots and potatoes, green peas it would be a lot healthier.
Always a Family favorite! A lot of flavor packed in the little empanadas!
