Milk Bar Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookie Dough
(Contains: Eggs, Milk, Soy, Wheat)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Break cookie dough along scored lines and place 2 inches apart on prepared sheet.
Bake until edges are golden, 18-21 minutes. (If baking from frozen dough, add 2-3 minutes to the bake time.)
Cool cookies on sheet for 3 minutes, then carefully transfer to a plate. Serve.
The directions are misleading. If you give the cookies to a person who has never baked before, the cookies would be burnt to a crisp. It said cook the cookies at 350 until edges are golden, with a timeframe of 18-21 minutes. That's WRONG! I put it in for 12 minutes, and the edges were just right. HOWEVER, here are tips to make the experience better: 1. chill the dough in the fridge until really cold OR chill the baking sheet, otherwise the dough would spread a lot; 2. do not use a dark colored baking sheet, 3. instead of greasing, use parchment paper. The marshmallows are a nice touch, but it sticks to the sheet, and it could make the cookie chewy.
They were pretty good. I knew they would taste a little different, what with cornflakes and breakfast cereal mixed in, but I'm not sure it works. Tasty, no regrets about getting them, but not sure I would call them fantastic. I think sometimes there would be a "fruity flavored" cornflake in with the chocolate chips and that create a bit of taste dissonance. Not sure you could do anything but see if the vendor has a different flavor cookie.
Buttery delicious cookies. If you cook them (did this accidentally) at a higher heat, they flatten out and are super crunchy.
They were good but very sweet. I added pecans to some and they were better.
Tastes great, but like the other flavor I cooked less than the specified time and they still were too brown.
These come out as a very thin crisp cookie. They were good but thinner than I was expecting.
Chewy out of the oven then they're crisp when cool.
Enjoyed making these with my little sister. She said they were super yummy and wants me to order some more!
I'm a terrible baker & everyone still liked them lol. Yummy & easy
I bought them because they were on sale. Turns out they were very good!
