There’s nothing more comforting than a warm, hearty bowl of chowder. Not just any chowder will do, though—this rich and creamy corn chowder happens to be extra special. For smoky depth of flavor, we’ve seasoned this chowder with our signature Southwest spice. The best part? All you have to do is heat it up and grab a spoon! One slurp will have you bowled over. RECOMMENDED: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place sealed bag in pot; cook for 20 minutes, then carefully remove. (Caution: Bag will be very hot.) Cut one corner with scissors and pour into a serving bowl.
MICROWAVE ALTERNATIVE: Cut one corner of the bag; pour chowder into a microwave-safe container. (Do not microwave in cup.) Cover loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap or a paper towel. Microwave on high, stirring halfway through, 5-6 minutes. (Caution: Container and chowder will be very hot.)
I was skeptical because I'm not always a huge fan of southwest flavors, but this soup was delicious! Great taste and texture with the perfect amount of pepper flavor! Very rich tasting, while being good on calories (and filling)!
I love a nice rich chowder on a cold winter day, so this was perfect. This is a hearty corn chowder with tons of flavor and very filling. Delicious.
This soup is delicious. Love that all we have to do is heat it up. Add garlic bread & you have a meal. The southwest flavor adds something different.
Sooooo yummy and I judge restaurant's and chefs on their chicken corn chowder! Love the use of black beans, bacon and poblano peppers!
I love this chowder. Tangy but not too spicy. Easy to cook, I use the microwave.
This chowder was delicious - to increase the protein, I added sauteed chicken breast and didn't need to add another thing. Loved it!
This soup is different than most. We enjoyed sweet corn and other unique ingredients. If it has a little heat from crushed peppers, It is my husband's favorite!
When you first see the package with the soup it was a little off putting. The color was iffy and it was separated and congealed. Once you heat it up though...it was delicious! I added some cayenne pepper for some heat - loved it.
Not a fan of corn chowder but thought I'd give it a try. Very tasty. The peppers gave it the kick it needed. Would do again.
Maybe add the option of bacon and could use a little spice like red pepper flake.
