• Wash and dry produce. • Halve, peel, and thinly slice half the onion (whole onion for 4). Halve lemon. Trim and discard root end from lettuce; chop leaves into bite-size pieces.

• Pat steak* dry. Thinly slice steak; season with Shawarma Spice Blend, salt, and pepper. • Drizzle oil in a hot pan. Add steak; cook, stirring occasionally, until steak reaches desired doneness, 4-6 minutes.

• While steak cooks, in a microwave- safe bowl, mix onion, juice from half the lemon (whole lemon for 4), and a pinch of salt. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave until onion is tender, 30-40 seconds. Set aside to pickle. • In a separate bowl, mix lettuce, tomatoes, feta, and vinaigrette.

• Wrap pitas in damp paper towels; microwave for 20-30 seconds. • Add steak in a line across the middle of each pita. Top with as much salad as you like. Drizzle with smoky garlic herb sauce; top with as much pickled onion (draining first) as you like and as much hot sauce as you like. • Fold pitas in half to form wraps. Serve with any remaining salad on the side.
Steak is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 145°.
Turned out great. I also bought the falafel in the package so we had both steak and falafel pita wraps. Fantastic for a weeknight meal.
Very easy to fix, love the salad, goes great with the pita wrap
Loved these steak pita wraps. Great flavors and the greek salad on the side was perfect. I'd order again.
Excellent recipe. My husband especially liked the smoky sauce; I thought all the spices combined to make a very tasty, very easy quick meal. Kudos to another succulent Mediterranean-inspired recipe, Hello Fresh!
Loved this one! Super easy to make and the flavors were great. Just the right thing for a summer light meal - or any season!
We loved this dish! It was so easy and simply delicious. The combined flavors worked so well, and we can't wait to have this again.
The flavor of this meal was good, but what killed it was that the pita was too small in diameter to accommodate the ingredients it was supposed to accommodate. Previous meals with pita bread had thinner but wider bread. As such, everything with this type just fell out with every bite and got all over my hands, and it was just sloppy and, hard to eat. Would not order again as is. Produce was not ripe either.
The flavors of this was really good. We ended up eating it more like a salad as it got too messy. Next time, I will just do a salad and toast the pita bread.
I didn't like the salad dressing. Tasted "canned" ;) ... also I'm happy I used less than half of spice pack ... otherwise would have been way too salty. But I loved this one and will order again. I also learned how to use microwave to heat pita bread.
One of my favorite meals! So tasty and so easy. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for it and making it when I don't have a box
