• Wash and dry produce. • Halve, peel, and thinly slice half the onion (whole onion for 4 servings). Halve lemon. Trim and discard root end from lettuce; chop leaves into bite-size pieces.

• Pat steak* dry with paper towels, then thinly slice. Season with Shawarma Spice Blend, salt, and pepper. • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add steak; cook, stirring occasionally, until cooked to desired doneness, 4-6 minutes.

• While steak cooks, in a small microwave-safe bowl, combine onion, juice from half the lemon (whole lemon for 4 servings), and a pinch of salt. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave until onion is tender, 30-40 seconds. Set aside to pickle. • Add lettuce, tomatoes, feta, and vinaigrette to a large bowl; toss to combine.

• Wrap pitas in damp paper towels and microwave until warm and pliable, 20-30 seconds. • Place steak in a line across the middle of each pita. Top with as much salad as you like. Drizzle with smoky garlic herb sauce; top with as much pickled onion (draining first) as you like and as much hot sauce as you like. Fold pitas in half to form wraps. • Divide wraps between plates and serve with any remaining salad on the side.
Beef is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 145°.
The pita was a bit too thick to eat as shown but the flavors were great and I had the steak on the salad and ate the pita on the side. Very easy and quick cook with little mess.
I love shawarma anything, so this was great. I'll try this with chicken next time. This was a bit difficult for the kids to manage because the pita breaks so easily, so a more pliable pita would be great.
Delicious! I like to make mine as a salad with the warmed pitas on the side. The flavors meld together so beautifully...I don't usually like paying extra for the premium meals but this one is worth it. More, please!
Awesome meal! You'll love the tasty steak mixed with the herb sauce and salad. I wish this came with Tzatziki sauce. All in all, that was a very delicious 😋 meal and more than enough for two people.
Amazing flavor profile! Super quick and easy to make. I would recommend cutting tomatoes in half at least so they fit in the pita better
I was missing a lemon but hello fresh made it right. After running out for a lemon, this meal was very good. I love chicken pita bread so to have steak was a nice change and I learned a new quick and easy way to pickle onions.
This was one of my favorite. The seasoning gave the steak great flavor and it didn't take long to make.
Easy to make and delicious. The pitas did break up as sandwiches and we had to revert to using knives and forks, but still delicious.
I liked the salad, but I didn't love the garlic sauce. My family also thought the pita was maybe a little too thick. It was good just not our favorite.
I loved this one but my fam was on the fence. I loved the freshness of it. Crunchy, crisp lettuce with steak. Yum!
