Cooking Steps

1

Keep frozen or refrigerated until ready to eat.

2

RECOMMENDED: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place bag in pot; cook for 20 minutes, then carefully remove. (Caution: Bag will be very hot.) Cut one corner with sciessors and pour into serving bowl.

3

ALTERNATIVELY: Cut one corner of the bag; pour soup into a microwave-safe container. (Do not microwave in cup.) Cover loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap or a paper towel. Microwave on high, stirring halfway through, 5-6 minutes. (Caution: Container and soup will be very hot.)

4

GARLIC BREAD: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place garlic bread on a lightly-oiled baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes. Separate garlic bread into slices and serve.

Okay I am from New England and we do clam chowder correctly. I ordered this to see if it was like that and it tasted like I was in a restaurant back home.

This clam chowder is delicious and very convenient since you don't have to add milk. The garlic bread wasn't as good as other frozen ones I've tried. I kept it in the oven for at least 15 minutes but it never got golden & toasty.

Really delicious clam chowder. Would buy again. Garlic bread needed a little more butter and garlic and maybe a little parsley

This clam chowder is very good compared to many on the market. But it could use more sustenance and flavor to be authentic. I added a small amount of corn and roasted red pepper. It would be nice also to add instructions telling that 1 to 2 Tbls of sherry or wine can be added for a more authentic flavor.

Really good clam chowder with good amount of clams and a thick, but not too thick creamy base. Delicious.
