When you have a hankering for sesame chicken, you know how it is—you’ve gotta have it immediately, and nothing else will do. Fortunately, this dish is super speedy to whip up in your very own kitchen. In just 20 minutes (yes, you read that right), you can dig into steamy rice topped with tender chicken and carrots in a stellar sauce that’s tangy, nutty, and just a little bit sweet. For a finishing touch, it’s drizzled with sriracha lime mayo, then sprinkled with scallions and sesame seeds to really take it over the top. Time to conquer that craving, folks.

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Cooking Steps

Cook Rice
1

• In a small pot, combine rice, 1¼ cups water (2¼ cups for 4 servings), and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes. • Keep covered off heat until ready to serve

Prep
2

• While rice cooks, wash and dry all produce. • Zest and quarter lime. Trim and thinly slice scallions, separating whites from greens. • Dice chicken* into bite-size pieces.

Mix Mayo
3

• In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise with as much sriracha and lime juice as you like.

Cook Veggies
4

• Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add carrots and scallion whites; cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly softened, 1-2 minutes.

Make Stir-Fry
5

• Stir chicken, sweet soy glaze, and sesame dressing into pan with veggies. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce is thickened and chicken is warmed through, 2-4 minutes more. • Remove pan from heat.

Finish & Serve
6

• Fluff rice with a fork; stir in lime zest and 1 TBSP butter (2 TBSP for 4 servings). Season with salt and pepper. • Divide rice between bowls; top with chicken stir-fry. Drizzle with sriracha lime mayo. Sprinkle with scallion greens and as many sesame seeds as you like. Serve with any remaining lime wedges on the side.

Best tasting meal yet. If this meal sounds good to you, the saucy sesame chicken is a must. My family thought all of the flavors were a hit.

The Sriracha Lime Mayo is what made this dish--it was only okay without it. Sesame seeds were a great topping as well.

Was nervous about the pre-cooked chicken tasting funny. This was absolutely NOT the case - it was delicious! And the sriracha lime mayo was soooo tasty.

By far one of our favorite. The rice was delicious with lime zest and butter. The chicken was cooked and the glaze was delicious.

This had just the right balance of spice and flavor without being overbearing. We enjoyed the lime zest in the rice as well.

Delicious - the pre-cooked chicken made this dish an easy to make meal and the sauce coated the rice and chicken perfectly.

Since the chicken was pre-cooked, this came together so quickly, and my kids loved it. A little too much sugar for me, but the lime rice was really nice--definitely learned a new trick.

As written would just say very good, but could be excellent to us with some changes. We do not like the flavored mayo, so used some sour cream we had and made a sriracha crema instead by substituting sour cream for the mayo and water for the lime juice. Also, we did not put lime zest in our rice, so would probably add ginger to it next time as it was a bit bland. My husband really liked this meal and I appreciated it being super quick and easy to make, but just wanted a little more flavor that was not mayo or citrus. Would order again.

Very fast and tasty. Lime skin was all covered with brown spots, so could not zest. Rice always needs more water than you list. Needed more mayonnaise. Cooked chicken breasts are good quality, we like having them provided for some recipes, I hope you continue to do so.
