Cooking Oil

• Wash and dry produce. • Drain pineapple, reserving half the juice in a large bowl. Roughly chop cilantro. Halve lime.

• To bowl with pineapple juice, add pork*, stock concentrate, panko, ½ tsp salt (1 tsp for 4 servings), and pepper. Mix until combined. • Form mixture into two patties (four patties for 4), each slightly wider than a burger bun. • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add patties and cover pan; cook until browned and cooked through, 3-5 minutes per side.

• While patties cook, in a medium bowl, combine coleslaw mix, half the cilantro, half the mayonnaise, juice from half the lime, ½ tsp sugar, and ½ tsp salt. (For 4 servings, use juice from all the lime, 1 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp salt). Set aside, tossing occasionally, until ready to serve. • In a small bowl, combine remaining mayonnaise with as much Sriracha as you like.

• Halve and toast buns. • Spread cut sides of buns with as much spicy mayo as you like. Fill with patties, pineapple, and remaining cilantro. • Divide burgers between plates; serve with slaw on the side.
Ground Pork is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 160°.
We loved this recipe!! I think this is now one of our all times favorites. We've never had any type of Hawaiian style burger and picked this one so we could try it out. Wow!!! The fresh pineapple and slaw made everything so good. Looking forward to having this one again!!
I rearranged the ingredients and put the pineapple in with the slaw and topped the burger with it. I think it came out much better that way than what the instructions offered. It fit on the bun easier.
I liked that it was quick and easy and had pineapple. Burgers I can generally take or leave, but pineapple I'll always take. This was really delicious and the slaw a good side.
Very good flavor combos. This is a very delicious burger! And the coleslaw on this had great flavor. The last time we had slaw, it was very bland. This one was great!
These burgers were absolutely delicious. I loved the pineapple juice in the burger and the slaw with lime.
Very tasty, savory and sweet with the pineapple sounds odd but was a nice contrast for the burger.
The recipe is so delicious, easy to create and adapt to taste. Had to replace some ingredients due to delivery issue, but kept ingredients basically the same which made a very tasty burger and wonderful meal.
Flavor was good. Breadcrumbs made texture a little off. Fresher pineapple would have tasted better, rings would fit better on burger. Cheese would have been a good addition, made pepper jack or Swiss. Need something more substantial for a side than slaw.
Has potential; the pineapple would've worked better as rings so it doesn't all fall out after the first bite, and some ginger in the meat would've been a nice touch. Added the other half of the pineapple liquid to the coleslaw and that gave it a lovely tang, too
Loved this burger! I mixed the pineapple into the meat before cooking. So good!
