Cooking Steps

Prep
1

• Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry produce. • Trim and thinly slice scallions, separating whites from greens. Dice tomato into 1⁄4-inch pieces.

Cook Pasta
2

• Once water is boiling, add cavatappi to pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente, 9-11 minutes. • Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water (2 cups for 4 servings), then drain.

Cook Beef
3

• Meanwhile, heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat; add beef*, scallion whites, and Ranch Spice. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, breaking up meat into pieces, until beef is browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes. TIP: If there’s excess grease in your pan, carefully pour it out.

Make Sauce
4

• Add cream cheese, stock concentrates, and 1⁄2 cup reserved pasta cooking water (1 cup for 4 servings) to pan with beef mixture. Season with 1⁄2 tsp salt (1 tsp for 4) and a pinch of pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring, until thickened, 2-3 minutes.

Finish Pasta
5

• Reduce heat to low and stir in drained cavatappi, sour cream, cheddar, half the dressing, and 1 TBSP butter (2 TBSP for 4 servings). • Cook, stirring, until cheese is melted and pasta is coated in a creamy sauce, 1-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. TIP: If necessary, stir in more pasta cooking water a splash at a time.

Serve
6

• Top cavatappi skillet with scallion greens and tomato. Drizzle with remaining dressing. • Divide between plates and serve.

Creamy comforting pasta that my family loved! The ranch flavors were a great spin on the usual pasta & ground beef dish. The chopped tomatoes on top added freshness.

We LOVED this recipe so much. It was like a gourmet hamburger helper with a twist. Amazing flavor. Ranch is a huge hit for us, please keep adding more ranch recipes!

I don't normally like tomatoes or uncooked green onions, but the intention behind it in this very salty beefy recipe is amazing. The tomato is very refreshing and the onion is a nice kick. Maybe could use less ranch, but that's about it.

My adult son never eats what I cook but he had a huge plate full of this. It was really good, and that's from someone who's not a fan of ranch. I wouldn't change a thing

Solid dish! Reminiscent of Hamburger Helper with a ranch twist. Diced tomatoes on top added an essential fresh element. Will definitely want this one again!

Easy to make. A bit on the bland side. I can see maybe adding some mushrooms. I added more cream cheese and ranch to it. The onions helped give flavor.

Very good, super thick and creamy. A little much in the ranch flavor but was great with some spice added

I added a little Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning when I cooked the meat to add the extra zing and it was amazing

Good, needed more cream cheese, sour cream, and buttermilk ranch dressing. You don't provide enough sauce for things.
