These bodacious burgers are positively layered with flavor. First, pork patties are infused with an aromatic mix of garlic, onion, and paprika. Then, the cooked burgers are topped with nutty, melty gouda and a tangle of feisty caramelized onions spiked with sriracha and lime. Everything gets tucked into toasty buns spread with creamy garlic-lime sauce and served with a heap of crispy oven fries. Prepare for total taste bud takeover.

Adjust rack to middle position and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and dry all produce. Cut potatoes into ½-inch-thick wedges. Halve, peel, and thinly slice onion; mince a few slices until you have 2 TBSP (4 TBSP for 4 servings). Zest and quarter lime. Grate 1 clove garlic (2 cloves for 4). Halve buns.

Toss potatoes on a baking sheet with a large drizzle of olive oil, half the paprika (you’ll use the rest later), and a big pinch of salt and pepper. Roast on middle rack until browned and tender, 20-25 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt 2 TBSP butter (3 TBSP for 4 servings) in a medium pan over medium heat. Add sliced onion, ¼ tsp sugar (½ tsp for 4), and salt. Cook, stirring, until browned and softened, 10-15 minutes. (TIP: Lower heat and add a splash of water if onion starts to burn.) Stir in a squeeze of lime juice and sriracha to taste.

While onion cooks, in a large bowl, combine pork, minced onion, half the grated garlic, remaining paprika, ½ tsp sugar (1 tsp for 4 servings), and salt. Form into two patties (four for 4), each slightly wider than a burger bun. Heat a large drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned and cooked through, 4-7 minutes per side. In the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, top each patty with gouda; cover pan until cheese melts. Remove from pan and set aside.

Toast buns until golden. (TIP: For a deeper flavor, toast in pan used for patties over medium heat.) While buns toast, in a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and a squeeze of lime juice. Stir in as much lime zest and remaining grated garlic as you like. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread as much sauce as you like onto bottom buns; fill buns with patties and sriracha onion. Divide burgers and potatoes between plates. Serve with any remaining sauce for dipping and lime wedges on the side.
Easy meal to make - wedges turned out fluffy and crispy (finally!) and the burger was juicy and delicious. We went with the beef option. The sauce, Gouda cheese, and carmelized onions all worked together to create something with a little spice, a little freshness, and a lot of gooey goodness. My husband loved the onions IN the burgers as well.
Loved the flavor of the pork, Gouda and potato bun, but the siracha onions put this flavor fest into overdrive with the gold potato wedges as a strong side making a hearty and flavorful meal. P.S. it was even better the next day. How can I order it again?
Excellent! Pork burgers are different and tasty! I love the flavor the caramelized onion adds to the dish. I will try caramelizing the onion first, cooling then adding it to the ground port before cooking next time to try a different presentation of the dish. The cheese is was very complimentary to the dish and of course the roasted potatoes are always delicious and a hit.
Never had a pork BURGER before and would have never put caramelized onions and sriracha together but I definitely should have been! So so so so good! I cooked the potatoes in our airfryer but the instructions for the oven were easy to follow too!
Really tasty, and kicks up typical burger by a lot. Loved the toppings and sauce. Each person can adjust the spice level by the amount of sauce. The burgers were really flavorful, and the potato wedges were nicely seasoned.
Definitely adequate in quantity. Very tasty and juicy burger. Be prepared to eat w fork and knife. Lime juice and sriracha addition to caramelized onions adds a delicious flavorful toppping.
These were good but a little spicy, I love the idea of putting the sugar and hot sauce in the onions. It really gave them a whole new depth of flavor, Gouda cheese is my fav, the sauce was amazing too. the wedges were perfect!!
One of my all time favorite Hello Fresh burgers. We love this one, and the kids can have hotdogs so it works well for us. The sriracha/lime onions MAKE this burger, and the pork makes it sooooo juicy.
The burgers were pretty decent. An egg added in for binding would've made them even better. The potatoes were way too small to make wedges out of, so my daughter made mashed potatoes instead. The gouda was good, but we were hoping it would've been a little bit sharper. Overall, not too bad of a meal.
Great flavor!!! I love the lime offsetting the sriracha and the paprika on the potatoes and in the burger.
