This pasta bake keeps cleanup to a minimum thanks to our oven-ready tray. Fresh rigatoni cooks up perfectly tender in the oven along with our flavorful Italian pork sausage, peas, and a rich tomato-pepper sauce (aka romesco!)—with no prep required. Finish it with a sprinkle of nutty Parmesan for a convenient, delicious meal in a flash!
6 tablespoon
Romesco Sauce
1 unit
Oven-Ready Tray
4 ounce
Peas
7 ounce
Fresh Rigatoni Pasta
(Contains: Eggs, Wheat)
2 unit
Chicken Stock Concentrate
3 tablespoon
Parmesan Cheese
(Contains: Milk)
9 ounce
Italian Pork Sausage
teaspoon (tsp)
Black Pepper

Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Remove sausage* from casing if necessary; discard casing. Break up sausage into bite-size pieces in oven-ready tray (for 4 servings, evenly divide sausage between two trays).
Add rigatoni, peas, romesco sauce, stock concentrates, and 1¼ cups hot water. (For 4, divide ingredients between two trays, using 1¼ cups hot water for each tray.) Stir to combine.

Cover oven-ready tray tightly with aluminum foil and bake on top rack (be sure your oven has preheated!) for 20 minutes (for 4 servings, bake two trays side by side on top rack).
Carefully remove foil from tray (watch out for steam!). Gently stir pasta bake.
Return pasta bake to top rack and bake, uncovered, until pasta is al dente and sausage is cooked through, 12-15 minutes more. Taste and season with pepper if desired.

Divide pasta bake between shallow bowls. Top with Parmesan and serve.
This is definitely my favorite of the Prep and Bake meals. The sausage has a lovely flavor.
I really enjoyed this....fast, easy prep and a good meal.
My family loved this dish! The sauce and sweet Italian sausage was excellent.
This was really, really good. The noodles were chewy and wonderful. That sauce was the bomb.
Sauce was still a little watery after the max suggested cook time. Maybe needs a little less.
My husband surprisingly loved this one!! I did add some spaghetti sauce to add flavor and switched out their sausage for a hot sausage. I thought the peas were a tad weird but my husband loved them and said it added a nice texture.
The cook time isn't even close enough to cook the sausage. It took 25 minutes total to get it safe enough to eat.
This was good! I wish they had included a lid as they provided a baking tray which was nice. I didn't have a lid so it didn't come out as good as it would've but I liked it.
I have never had a meal we didn't like from Hello Fresh, until this one. One thing Hello Fresh does better than anyone is their sauces. The sauce on this meal was blah. The macaroni cooked per directions was mushy and I used the lowest times. Basically it was a tasteless mushy meal. Don't offer it again. Once again I will say after being a customer for several years this is the first time we didn't care for a Hello Fresh meal.
I think cooking this in a pan with a lot of liquid was not the best way to make pasta; it congealed a bit into a mushy but somehow still too solid lump. The flavors were okay but the textures not great.
