If you love stir-fries, you know it’s all about the sauce! Tangy, savory, and a little bit spicy, our sesame-soy garlic sauce takes juicy chicken thighs to the next level. We round out this satisfying meal with tender rice that’s studded with edamame, carrot, and bell pepper. Just top with crunchy sesame seeds, and dinner is served! This is the first of your ready to heat meals I've tried. It was outstanding! The ingredients were fresh in appearance and tasted as good as Sesame Garlic chicken I've eaten in restaurants. I hope all the ready to heat meals are as good. If so, I'll add them to my regular order.
I like the quick cook time, but the rice and chicken were in the same section-there was just one section vs. having two sections of the tray like with other meals, allowing the chicken to cook separately from the rice/veggie. The one tray section also means when you add the sauce and stir, you're saturating the rice with sauce, which is poor technique and overwhelms the dish. There was a lot of rice, but little veggie and almost no chicken. I'd prefer to have more veggie and more chicken and less rice. The dish doesn't look anything like the picture, which is very misleading, due to the cook tray and the way you're forced to prepare. Will not order again. :(
Rice delicious, loved all the veggies, chicken very tender, but the seasoning not quite right. Drizzled sweet soy, chili oil, needed something to match description and picture of dish.
It was good. Based on the provided image I had a few expectations: that the chicken was breaded/crispy, and that the chicken was separate so it can be sauced separately. The chicken is mixed in with everything else, and is unbreaded. Overall-still a good meal! Just not quite what I thought.
Not really enough for two people if one is a male. A lot of sauce for the amount of chicken. Thought it was expensive for what we got. I won't order this again but will try the other ready to eat meals.
It was good, but I feel like it should have had more Spice in it! A little Bland. But good and easy to make quickly.
This seems to have replaced the previous Sesame Garlic Fire-Braised Chicken Thighs - but this new dish, while definitely tasty, has 1930mg of sodium per serving?! Thats almost 4000mg per package - extremely unhealthy levels of sodium. The previous version had 1210mg per serving - still high, but nowhere near what it is now. The current meal is also 150 calories more per serving than the previous version. I'd personally prefer the previous version that is lower calorie and lower sodium.
There was a lot in the package. Quick and easy to fix.
I would love to make this one fresh. Do you have this as a meal kit?
Too much sauce. I wish I would not have put all on. It was very high in sodium and almost too flavorful.
