Add bacon* to a large, dry, preferably nonstick, pan in a single layer over medium-high heat. Cook, turning occasionally, until crispy, 6-10 minutes. (While bacon cooks, wash and dry produce.) Turn off heat; transfer bacon to a paper-towel-lined plate. Wash out pan
Thinly slice chives. Halve and toast baguette. Dice 2 TBSP butter.
Carefully crack eggs* in pan used for bacon and add diced butter. Heat over medium heat; using a rubber spatula, stir constantly, scraping bottom and sides of pan for 30 seconds. Remove pan from heat and continue stirring and scraping; return to heat after about 10 seconds. Continue to cook, 30 seconds on the heat and 10 seconds off, stirring and scraping until eggs begin to set, about 3 minutes.
Turn off heat; stir in cream cheese, half the chives, and a pinch of salt; remove from heat and stir until cream cheese is evenly combined.
Top toasts with scrambled eggs. Halve toasts on a diagonal and divide between plates along with bacon. Garnish with remaining chives and serve.
